[/blockquote][/justify]The slow walk turned into a paced jog and then switched to a full on sprint for Soren. The girl that had just beckoned him to follow was no where to be seen. And it was just his luck to lose an alliance member this early. Losing an alliance member without them actually dying isn't very common. He had options, definitely having the possibility to call out her name. That would do nothing good though, only attracting the attention of other tributes in the vicinity. Danger seemed to attract itself to Soren. First he found an injured girl, then he got her pregnant while she was still young. Then he found himself at the scene of a murder with the weapon in his hand. And with his little girl dead, nothing worse could've happened. The jail sentence made it worse and his name being reaped just sealed the deal. He was a danger magnet.
But losing somebody without them dying isn't really danger. It's just utter stupidity. When she first left, Soren promised himself that he'd keep his eyes on her, to always know where she was. Hopefully her District Partner would follow close behind. But Soren lost her. He took one look around when the large rocks came into sight and then lost her from his sight. So he kept going towards the big rocks, hoping that the rock structures would attract her. She did say something about liking big things, but Soren was confident that Winona Kirby meant something entirely different.
The large monoliths were a bit away and that's where Soren decided to stop. Maybe he somehow got past the girl through some sort of...okay, he was lost and he knew it. There was no way to find the girl that was his safety. And maybe he had lost the Snip boy too. Dammit. You're kidding me. The boy sat, hoping for his luck to get better.
