Age: 15
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 2
Appearance:
Sadie is about 5'4 with long, skinny legs and big ears. her ears stick out through her hair, which will sometimes cause a blush to form on her face, which is covered in freckles.Personality:
Sadie has a narrow face with large round eyes. She wishes she could have green eyes, but only has a normal blue color. She's disappointed about this, but had it coming- both of her parents have blue eyes.
Sadie has long dark reddish brown hair that when she's busy writing she lets it fall freely over her shoulders, but when she's out and about in public ties it back in a ponytail.
Sadie is skinny. Her legs are long and thin, and sometimes shake when she's cold or has been running for a while. She gets embarrassed about that too.
On the right side of her right eye is a small scar. She got it from when she came crawling into her brother's room and he dropped a wire he was experimenting on, striking her by the eye and burning the skin. Luckily it was a small wire, but she's still prejudiced over it.
Sadie's hair is often uncombed. She usually focuses more on writing than her personal appearance, and her teeth are wide apart, giving her a spaced smile.
Sadie is very peppy and full of spirit. She is the glass half full type, but doesn't let herself be filled with bliss. She's smart enough to know not paying attention to the world and it's downside is possibly fatal for a young girl like her. She's often seen skipping along the streets of District Two, a wide smile slapped on her face.History:
Sadie's a smart little bear, but doesn't like to show it. She actually likes being out shined by her Brother, who just blows everyone away with his skills. Some people would whisper behind his back that he's secretly from District Three, where all the smart ones are. Sadie just likes being known as the smart one's happy little sister and having friends, not striving for attention and applause.
Sadie has a large ring of friends around her, but she really only sees them in school and mingles. When she's out of school she's usually sitting away in her room writing down poems, her one love. Sadie likes to stay hidden away in her room to write, sometimes staying in there a whole evening or so. She likes to talk and enjoy spending time with her parents and friends, but she's one that often needs "me" time.
Sadie used to play with figures of tributes from past hunger games as a child, but now she's figured out what the Hunger Games really are, and she's terrified of them. She often writes about them, and then shoves the little papers under her bed where nobody, she hopes, will ever find them.
Sadie is one to brush her problems in the closet, lock them, and throw away the key. She doesn't like looking at her problems and feeling pain, so tries to brush them off, find the best, no remorse solution, and move on. In the end she ends up with a lot on her shoulders that depresses her.
Sadie was born four years after her older brother. Since there was already one child in the house, her parents attention was greatly devoted to Sadie's older brother. Sadie learned to walk and talk past the normal age. Most of the time she was just left in her crib to play with figures of tributes from former Hunger Games as a baby.Codeword: oDair
Her start to school was delayed by a year due to her late development. So, she's the oldest in her grade now, but never tells anyone that she couldn't start school at the normal time.
By the time Sadie was seven she was used to her brother being the center of attention, and started writing more. When she wasn't writing she was with friends of playing with those Hunger Games figures. The more and more she stayed in her room, the better she felt about not being payed attention to. She almost felt good about being a loner.
When she became eligible for the reapings, a bit of Sadie's fear for the games began to unveil its self. She was always nervous and shaking when District Two would stand in their square and wait for two unlucky children to be whisked away forever, most likely to death.
Now that her Brother has found a wife and is currently settling in with her, Sadie is finally getting the love from her parents she's deserved for the past 15 years, only now she doesn't want it, and holds them at a distance. They realize their mistake and wish they could make amends, but Sadie's gotten so used to loner life that she may never go back.
