Appearance:

Decci is 5'6 and weighs around 109 pounds. She is very skinny from lack of food and has slightly longer than shoulder length, thin curly caramel colored hair, with a lot of split ends. Decci has large, round grayish green eyes with long dark eye lashes and a pretty face. Also with considerably good looking white teeth. Decci has an olive colored skin tone and is well built but does not certainly look like it.

She has a long scar running from the left side of her neck down to her lower back from a severe burn she encountered as a child. Her favorite clothes she owns are her sky blue shirt and blue jeans.

Personality:

Decci is a bright, hard working, young girl who is not shy or afraid to speak her mind. Even though Decci can be quite solemn at times she, for the most part, is a pretty lively happy person, but has a short temper which sometimes gets her in trouble in school.

Decci finds school interesting and for the most part gets
exceptionally good grades, she is always ready to learn new things. Her favorite subject is history; she loves to learn about The Hunger Games and the former victors. Decci hates president snow for what he has put these kids, and their families through.

She is bold and very brave, but can be extremely clumsy at times.
Decci looks out for her family as much as she possibly can, but sometimes it is not enough. Decci has utterly no patience at all, and with a low tolerance for wasting because their family has so little. She is a wise crafter she can make almost anything out of wood if she has the materials she needs; very quick hands.

Decci is highly cautious and has a hard time adjusting to new situations, and she feels out of place most of the time. It is also hard for her to trust people, besides her family, but she tries her hardest. Decci is a remarkably honest girl, but she holds most of her feelings in; she’s good at hiding her problems. She is pessimistic and worries all the time for her family; if they will stay alive much longer, as well as herself. Decci also loves the cold- Ironic?

History:

She was born on June 12th, a semi-cold spring day. Decci’s mom and dad married young and had 2 boys, Hunter and reed and 3 girls, Maple, Luna, and herself, without having a lot of money. When Decci was only 8 her mom passed away five hours after giving birth to Luna, the whole family was devastated. After a while had past, they tried to get on with their life’s. They lost a lot of money, money they need, while morning over there mom.

While trying to get things back to normal, when Decci was only 9 her closest and oldest brother, Hunter, when he was 14, got picked in the Hunger Games he lost his life 5 days later. Since then, she’s scared of loosing more people she loved so she just decided to stop getting close to people, losing all her friends she had in the process as well.

In addition, when Decci was almost 11 their house burned down from a dropped candle, luckily none of them were seriously injured, besides the scar on Decci’s neck. Her dad built a small cottage with the remaining money they had left.

Decci’s whole family is very close and hopes that nothing else unfortunate happens. Even though, many years have past, nobody in this family has ever been the same again.
