Eliana 11

She is average height, and slightly underweight. She has brown hair and brown eyes that is common in District 11. Her eyes and lips are big. Most of the time Eliana wears her hair down.
She wears clothes that are too big for her as they were her father's. She is tan from working in the field. She has muscle from working all the time. Her character is hardened from work.

Eliana is very protective, and especially over her sister Prina. She's nice when she can afford to be but defensive when threatened. Eliana is exceptionally smart and has many strengths. She is indecisive and doesn't like to inflict pain upon others.
She is lazy when she doesn't need to be motivated. She is funny and makes light of serious situations. She is particularly persuasive and perceptive and can easily analyze the situation around her.
When people she cares about are in trouble she wastes no time to do whatever she can.
She is most happy when she's with the people she cares about in a non-stressful environment. Her family is the single most important thing in her life. She will do just about anything for them.

Eliana had once had 5 other family members. A father, Duke, a mother, Careena, a sister, Prina, and two brothers, Silas and Jace. When Eliana was 5, her younger brother Jace was born. Soon afterwards, her mother and father were taken captive by the Capitol as suspected rebels. Her mother was eventually killed by the Capitol and her father held captive for slightly longer. In the meantime, little baby Jace had been at home with Eliana, and her two other siblings who had no idea how to get food or to take care of a baby. By the time Duke was released, Jace had died. Duke had had trouble getting back on track afterwards but managed to provide for their family until Silas turned 18. He got a job and Eliana, who was 14, started to work around the town and taking out tessarae like Silas had at her age. All of the children ended up wearing Duke's old clothing which was very large for them, causing teasing and conflicts for them from other kids. Now, Prina is 12, and Eliana is 15, and they both take out many tessarae, while Silas is 19 and has the only job he could manage. She is very protective of her other siblings, and they're all very close.
