Name: Hidgero ("heed-geh-row") Falkier
Age: 44 (Edit: was 43 before 56th Games)
Gender: Male
District/Area: Wanderer/District 9
Appearance: Hidgero is often mistaken for someone in his late-twenties or early-thirties for his face alone - often helped by his more calm air unless teaching an individual. His auburn hair is reminiscent of old time gunslinger looks: unruly, extremely short, tangled locks, and sometimes slicked back. Present are some hard stubs on his chin, but he tries to maintain a clean look. Hidgero's Prussian blue eyes frequently scream of adult cheer - with some gruff.
Hidgero switches off from wearing a brown duster, a donkey jacket, or a pea coat. The rest of his clothes try to blend in with the nature around him - greens preferably. The only thing that would not be green would be the pants, which differ from being blue or brown. The older man wears a baggy shirt with some holes and sneakers or loafers, depending on what he's feeling like wearing for the day. He is always with gloves either for falconry or archery; the only time he will take them off is to demonstrate some protocol or to beat the living crap out of a person.
Personality: Hidgero is generally a calm or lively man. He's the type of person one could expect to tell a story over an open fire or there to lighten the party. Sociable, playful, and overall full of mirth, he sometimes acts like a teenager or a fresh young adult; but, he also has his serious moments that can easily put a damper on the atmosphere. Hidgero has a thing of saying, "That's the spirit!"
When the moment comes to teaching someone, however, Hidgero turns into a cruel and unrelenting person. He can and will box people in the ears with a cold glare if they cannot get the material down in one go. This personality change makes him aloof and not open for negotiation or cheekiness, and doing so will result in a black eye. Even if not in this state of mind, Hidgero is not a leader-type person. A simple breeze of mention about his family causes him to get depressed for long periods of time, though he tries not to let sadness show on his hardened face.
History: Hidgero came from a family that, though poor, was extremely loving and willing to give each other multiple chances. As parental habits are passed down to their children, Hidgero would act the same towards his hunting friends, who some would abuse this part of him.
At an unknown age, one day, his buddies were daring each other to step beyond the district boundaries and stay in a far-off location until sundown then return. Hidgero, at the time not as hard and determined, pleaded and begged for them not to do such a thing else they and their family would get in great trouble; they ignored him and went off to the open land beyond. The then-young man waited for their return; and, by sunset, two of the six buddies came back, with no information on where the others were.
Though the three always came by the boundary in hopes of their arrival, they never returned, an event that Hidgero held as his own fault and a sign of his weakness to sway people because of his softness.
Later, Hidgero would meet his love and have children, one of which shares quite a bit of his features. At the time, he was quite happy and content with what life handed him.
After a while, though, Crawberg, one of the two friends and Hidgero's best pal, that had come back years ago had offered Hidgero to rebel against the Capitol, sick of the ways they treat people and force the 'cheery' attitude towards the Hunger Games - and most likely affected by how his children would be subjected to being possible candidates for the Hunger Games. Hidgero, though not wanting to object against Crawberg, refused and left his friend to be, saying that he would do no such thing because rebelling might put his beloved family in danger.
The resulting 'accident' of a death, however, would shake Hidgero for eternity, eventually leading to his thinking that there had to be something done against an overpowering Capitol. The man enacted a plan to act rather harshly towards his 'it-may-not-be-fair-but-it's-better-than-other-possible-things" wife, causing them to drift away an one-sided way. Hidgero took his twin daughters - thinking that his son, no matter what, would have stayed for his weak mother - and ran off, in hopes to find a group fighting for a good cause.
Codeword: Muttations
Comments/Other: Hidgero wanders around a lot but has a house in District 9 for emergencies and for the daughters to live. Though he took them, he did not exactly want them to perform illicit activities. Sometimes he wishes he did not take them after all. He is a master of disguise and can shift voices.
