Shellie Rachel Adrian; District 11

Appearance: Shellie grew up working in the peach orchards, and as a result, she is as skinny as a twig. She reaches around four feet eleven, small for an almost grown up person. Scratches and bruises cover her thin arms and legs from the branches on the trees. Also, because Shellie stuggles to get by without the poor amount of food that her family pocesses, she is very small around her waste, her belly never full. Her overall stature is small and thin.

Shellie has medium length light golden hair that shines apon meeting the sunlight. Naturally, it is wavy and curly, but because she runs around the wild all day and never bothers to straighten it, it is a tangled mop that hangs around her shoulders. Shellie has beautiful eyes. They are a mint green color, with darker green flecks in them. Her eyelashes are long and curled perfectly, and they match her eyebrows, which are a jet black, also. Shellie's cheeks are always flushed from running around and exerting herself, and her nose is a bump where she broke it when she ran into a tree.

Shellie likes to wear loose and easy fitting clothes, or anything that she can get her hands on. She doesn't care that much about style, preferring comfort more.



Personality: Shellie is very outgoing, daring, and adventurous. She loves to talk to anyone, compete strangers, family, or best friends. She is one of those gossiping girls. She is also very daring, and does things on an impulse, rather than thinking them through. Her instincts can be unrational sometimes, but she always does things by following her heart. Shellie is always ready for adventure, she is eager and has a lot of energy. She takes risks everyday by climbing to the tops of the trees and jumping from limb to limb.

Shellie is also caring, she was brought up that way by her parents. She gives all her spare food, whenever she has any, to other people who need it more than she does. She is optomistic and always tries to see the golden lining in a dark and stormy cloud. Sometimes Shellie does not follow the rules, she can be foolish and dash into trouble without knowing it, getting her on the bad foot with the peacekeepers. Also, Shellie can be sarcastic with people when she gets frustrated.

Another main quality of Shellie is her impatience. She can never wait one moment for anyone to do something and she has trouble sitting still or being contained. But she is never on time to anything, wanting to do hat she wants to do when she wants to do it. Shellie never likes to follow the rules, she likes to let her spirit roam free.



History: When Shellie was first born, her mother died giving birth to her. She never knew her, and isn't that sad, but she finds herself wishing that she did have a mother to take care of her sometimes. But mostly, Shellie is independant and doesn't like to follow the rules of her father. She is the youngest of five and has five brothers, which might contribute to one of the reasons why she is so unruly. Her brothers always joke and laugh together, and she is the only girl, so sometimes she feels left out. But mostly, she grew up playing with them and has a natural predator's instinct.

Shellie is very sociable and has many friends. In her school, she is among the most popular. They all work in the orchards together, whether it be peach, pear, plum, or apple. Although her best friend, Sally, works in the peach orchards with her. Sally and Shellie have known each other since they started working there when they were eleven. They are inseparable.

Shellie loves to be outdoors and spending time with her friends. She likes to harvest fruit and feel the warm sunshine on her back and hear the babbling brook that is nearby. She loves to run, and she is very good at it. Shellie and her family live on the outskirts of town, near the poorer areas, but they get by. Shellie, her father and each of her brothers have a certain job in the agriculture field.
