Mialuna Maddox (Disctrict Nine)

With long, slender limbs, Mialuna reaches to five foot five and one half inches, with an hourglass figure, to boot. Her fingers are rough, long, and slender, and her skin is tan.

Her calves are muscled, tan, and long. Her arms, the same. She has a scar running along from her left middle finger to her elbow, caused from an accident with a hunting knife when she was younger.

She has curly brown hair that she keeps tied up, and deep brown eyes. Her face is smooth, with little to no acne.

Her feet are rough, from walking outside with no shoes on.

She often wears a shirt that's tied off at the end of the ribcage, showing off the abs that she has. Her shorts are also often to always ripped at mid thigh, showing the toned muscles beneath.

If you were to see her from a distance,
you might think her to be a normal person, for she keeps her hygiene nice and neat, her hair shiny, brushed and coiled into a tight bun on top of her head, or sometimes, just pressed into a messy ponytail. But if you were to see her up close, you would notice the scar on her arm, the rough hands and feet, the tanned skin that comes from being outside and working so much.

(So, in short; muscular, tan, tall and slender?)

When she first meets you, she tends to keep to herself. If you can get her to like you, she's loyal, and you have a friend for life, unless, of course, you do something to offend/hurt her, in which case she can drop you like a hot potato. She has her own best interests in mind, with self-preservation being a virtue.

She has several flaws, the most obvious being her lack of social skills, although, if she wants to, she could probably make do. The thing is, she doesn't want to.

She has a deep phobia of roaches. When she sees one, she goes deathly quiet, and she backs away quickly, although, she might freeze stock still.
She has an interest in survival skills, which led her to her current position.

Towards her mother, she is cold, withdrawn. She tends to not talk to her, just going to her room to sleep.

At times, if she is listening on a conversation- she might surprise you by dropping in something, some random fact. She picks things up quickly, although you wouldn't know it from how quiet she normally is. For instance, she knows just exactly how many teeth a mosquito has, but she doesn't know algebra. She has an excellent memory, recalling things from up to her very young years, and she yearns secretly for the past when her father and mother were happy, her father alive, her mother the perfect mother and wife.

At the age of four, Mialuna could read, and write with a steady hand. She was a quick learner, although she was quiet, and no one knew about her skills until she went to school for the first time, and surpassed everyone.

When she was ten her father died, leading to her mother's depression and their uprootal towards the parents of her mothers home. She shortly after began living outside, almost, going outside and hunting and such all day, then coming in on rainy nights to sleep, or to clean up, but she makes herself at home in the forests at the edge of the district. She thus learned hunting skills, although that comes from her district being number nine, and how to make a shelter and fire. Her home is not very friendly, her Grandparents caring only for her mother, and her mother withdrawn, having become depressed since her father died. Therefore, Mialuna went to the wilderness, that becoming her comfort. To be able to take care of herself, to care for nothing but her own health, that did good.

She does go to school, sometimes, standing, leaning against the wall in the back, listening intently, quiet, drawing facts for her personal stash of things that may someday come in handy. About the Hunger Games, she is interested, and she believes in fate, so she think if she gets into them, she was meant to, and she would be in it to win it.

Mialuna is good with a bow and arrow, and hunting knives. She picks up hunting techniques quickly.
