Name|Chloe Mockitis
Age|18
Gender|Female
District|8
We never meant to stay here;
We were here for the gold,
Here for the gold.
Appearance: To start with Chloe, she has black hair that turns slightly brown in the light and is normally dry. Her boring green eyes are actually also a tint of blue if you look close enough, her eyelashes are somewhat long. Her nose is a little smaller than average and a little pointy. Her ears are also on the small side. Her lips are full, and almost a perfect shape. Her head is sort of like an oval, but at the chin area it's a little pointier. Her whole face is pale, besides her lips. Her face has very weak acne breakouts now and then since she is practically an adult now.
Let's start with her neck. It's long, not like a giraffe's but longer than most other people in Panem. Her body is thin, and if she is wearing something tight, you could easily count out at least six of her ribs. Her arms are both long and thin, and her hands are covered in red blisters. Her legs are long, too. Chloe's feet are small and thin. Her toes are extremely bony. Also, and especially the soles of her feet, are covered in dirt and such since she doesn't wear shoes too much.
Her 'fashion sense' isn't really anything special. It's anything she can find, which is normally a t-shirt, a pair of sweatpants, and boots (if she is going to wear something on her feet, which is normally all winter). Chloe, if she has a choice, she'll try to wear something color coordinated. But normally, she's left wearing colors that look corny or sloppy together, but at least Chloe's family can afford to get clothes, other houses aren't as lucky.
Chloe has no use and no money for extra accessories. Piercings were a waste, in Chloe's opinion, they just made you look like eye candy. Bracelets and anklets were okay, but they didn't help you too much, so, Chloe could live without them. Makeup, Chloe really dislikes makeup. It made somebody look like someone they're not. Lastly, hair ties and such, sure they helped your hair stay out your face, but why would your hair be in your face anyways?We got stuck here for the winter,
Blinded by golden dollar signs,
We built some simple structures,
Temporary, not permanent.
Personality: An easy way to describe Chloe is anti-social, she actually never talks. She's a mute. She went mute mute when she was ten and never talked since. Before that she rarely ever talked, anyways. Chloe has never been a cooperative type, so going mute never really affected that. She also has really no self-confidence eighty percent of the time. Also, to go with that, she isn't very brave, either. Another small thing is, she didn't like the cold.
A good thing about Chloe though, is that she thinks realistic thoughts, and isn't naive. Chloe also respects and doesn't mind a lot of different changes. Chloe also does what is necessary for her family, herself, and others, too. She's also an honest person, she didn't have much to hide, anyways. So her life maybe worked out perfect in some ways.
One thing Chloe really can't stand is The Hunger Games. Even worse, how District One, Two, and Four train to be in The Games. It made Chloe sick just thinking about them, when kids in The Career Districts go all "I love the Hunger Games, I'm going to kill everyone!!" and stuff. That was one of the only reasons Chloe liked District Eight, they weren't blood-thrust people.
Another thing about Chloe was that she was envious. She was always jealous of girls in cliques or families who don't have to work as hard because they have enough money. but, speaking of which, Violet was grateful for what she had, and learned not to be selfish and ask, ask, ask. She would accept offers, ones that would help her get food, or maybe just some money.
Chloe also has some fears, besides The Games that is. One of them, is heights. Even just being on the second floor of her house and looking at the ground frightens her some bit. She also doesn't like the idea of anything having more than two legs, besides cats and dogs and such, so mainly, bugs.But each year we dug much deeper,
And each year things got more serious.
Each year our hearts grew weaker,
Blinded by golden dollar signs.
History:Chloe was born on the first day of winter, which is quite ironic because she dislikes the cold with a strong passion. She was her parent's first, and only child. She grew up like any average kid, she got taller, thinner or chubbier, stronger or weaker, maybe even smarter or dumber in some cases. But one thing is, and a lot of people noticed this, she didn't talk as much.
One day, when she was ten, she stopped talking. No one noticed, not even her, until after two days. She woke up like any other day, ate a small breakfast, went to school, didn't raise her hand to answer questions, and when she came home she just drew some pictures, something she was never particularly good at. The next day was quite similar, with just a few changes with the activities in the schedule. That night, when she was lying down in bed, she noticed what had happened. Three days before this event at school a rather more wealthy girl, and her group of friends, which was almost over twenty was teasing her, saying stuff like, "You're lucky your family can still afford to have a house." That made Chloe instantly sad, and being a ten year old means you're a little more sensitive, and she started crying. The next two days, she barely talked, then it faded to a complete silence. She never spoke unless it was extremely important since.
In school, she has no friends really, mainly because her being anti-social, though she grew up to be good in school, smart on the street, and wise in other situations. She also grew barely scraping by food-wise, and money-wise. That made her body form thin and bony at practically ever part. She still lives with her parents today but hopes to move into her own house soon.
To this day Chloe is in her last year of being able to get reaped in The Hunger Games. Chloe is excited, yet frightened, because at the least, she has her name in that glass ball seven times, she most likely will have to put in some tessera. But she doubts she'll be reaped, there will be thousands of other people in there.
Chloe actually enjoys her job weaving fabrics, even though her hands got blistered. She was occupied, she didn't have to talk at all, and this was actually something she was good at. Chloe became comfortable with this not too long ago, but she got into rhythm and started enjoying it.We never meant to stay here;
We were here for the gold,
Here for the gold.
