Appearance:

Renato is a somewhat tall and well structured person standing at 5'8" with an olive complexion who will often wear suits all the time (that is because his family is rich and they need to live up to their name by dressing formally) although sometimes his parents will allow for him to wear other types of clothing. He has silky straight jet black hair with sideswept bangs that are usually to his right and thankfully do not block his eyes. And as for the eyes, they are grey but will appear slightly different depending on what color clothing he wears or sometimes his mood. For example, if he is mad, his eyes will appear slightly darker but when he is at ease or happy they will appear somewhat brighter than usual.
Aside from the eyes, he has a unique feature which is a birthmark located on his left arm that many would think it looks like a bow with an arrow pointing downwards but to Renato it simply looks like a disfigured boat.
As for the face, it is very smooth and when he gazes at someone he gives them a sad, lonely yet amiable look especially when he shows a smile.

Personality:

Renato is a hard to get person and the only thing that everyone is sure that they know about him is that he is very modest and will often never presume about anything. They also know that he is very nice, loyal and loves to be around people as long as he doesn’t have to talk a lot because this makes him feel nervous.
To Renato the best way to succeed in life is through reading and that is why he will often be walking through the streets with a book on his hand or sometimes be sitting on a bench with a sketchbook drawing anything that crosses his mind. He is very shy but once someone walks up to him and gets on his good side, he’ll talk back to you and eventually be more open which leads to him being funny. Renato can also be very clever and sometimes wise which has led many to think and say (mostly his various tutors) that he is a true prodigy eventhough Renato completely denies it.
Aside from that, he does have his negative traits which would be being way too impulsive and impatient over things. He will also tend to react strongly if he sees that someone is manipulating him or taking away his freedom and will often make the same mistakes over and over again which is perfectly normal to everyone (not many) that knows him and his sometimes explosive character.
Unknown to anyone, he will often help those in need and think of ways to make the world a better place but as of lately he is coming to realize that doing that might be completely pointless but he won’t give up because he is very stubborn on anything he puts his mind to. Renato can also be very sensitive and emotional from the inside often keeping a secret his problems from everyone to not worry them.

History:

Renato was born on the evening of the yearly Hunger Games which to him is dreadful considering how much he hates those games. On that evening like around 7 p.m. he was born premature and momentarily died a few hours after his birth coming back to life at 11 p.m. But this did not take the doctors for surprise, it was very common for premature kids to do that and his death had only lasted a few seconds. That is where he got his name Renato from, meaning “reborn” in his family’s ancient language and combined with his last name Di Sera-Notte it basically talks about his birth which strangely can translate to “reborn during or of the evening night”.
Ever since his birth and particularly because of his death, his parents have been very cautious of him and will not allow him to overexert himself during his martial arts practices and will often keep him in the house when the day is very hot with a lot of sun. The only time he will often go outside is when it is warm but not too much or when he is wearing a long and warm jacket every time it is cold outside and during social events. This has lead to him being so quiet and he always tried to prove to his parents that because of his death, it doesn’t mean he is vulnerable to everything but his parents love and worry for him too much that they don’t understand, therefore he has stopped trying to convince them. This is also the reason why he won't tell anyone of his problems and will often keep his past a secret from anyone.
