Personality:Vivex is about 5'4", though she hates when people call her short. Viv's hair is slightly shorter than shoulder length and chestnut colored. Naturally it has a wave to it, but of course there are ways to change that. In sunlight it has a reddish hue. Vivex has pale skin and freckles that march across her nose and down her arms. She weighs 131 pounds, much of which is muscle, though a growing amount is due to fat. Her eyes are dark brown and rimmed with long dark eye lashes. Viv's eyebrows are darker than her hair and are pretty wild because she could never bring herself to do anything to them.
Vivex has small hands and feet, and so can't use large weapons. Instead she focuses on bows and arrows and daggers. Her small size also means that though she is fairly muscled, her strength can't compare to those taller than her. Viv's nose is much too large for her face and crooked from when she broke it in practice. She has trouble breathing through it, often times. Since she started writing and spending less time training she has grown slightly plumper. It worries her because though she may not be vain about her eyebrows she is very vain of her figure.
History:Vivex is a cautious soul. She doesn’t make friends easily and is a hard person to get to know. Instead she puts on a tough persona and can even be a rather abrasive character. She is used to be alone. Actually she is very respectful and caring, but she is also a bit headstrong. She chooses who deserves her respect and if someone demands respect she is likely to deny them the favor.
Viv is very secretive and good at keeping secrets. Her time alone has made her used to keeping things to herself. And she doesn't have anyone to tell things, the last "best friend" she had was when she was eight. She's also good at blending into backgrounds and being unnoticed, mostly because she is quiet, but also because she is on the short side. She doesn't mind being overlooked, in fact she would rather people not notice her. She almost enjoys her relative anonymity because talking to people takes real effort. If people know her, it is because they've seen her with her brother, an amiable character opposite of his sister in almost every respect.
Vivex is plagued by moral ineptitude. This is partially due to her lack of social interactions, but also has a root in her headstrong attitude. She wants to rebel against the rules, and the rules dictate what is right and what is wrong. Often times it is difficult for her to decided whether someone or something is good or bad, and if she should get some instinctual moral pull towards one side or another she will usually favor just the opposite.
Still, she has a fascination with doctors and the role they play in society. She heartily wishes she could care for patients, but her manners are too rough.
Codeword: odairViv was the first child of Gerian and Felix Lorman. When she was three she got a brother named Tarrence, and when she was four a little sister named Emrion. Her father worked in the mines and her mother worked to train Peacekeepers. Vivex attended school halfheartedly, but she really enjoyed training. It gave her a chance to unleash a wild side within herself. She was never the strongest or most adept in training. In fact, her peers largely ignored her. To them she was just a ill natured attack dummy.
Viv had always had a special interest in the Hunger Games. Her dad hated them; he thought it was unfair for the Capitol to punish the upper districts because they were loyal to the Capitol. Her mother, however, thought they were great fun and enjoyed betting on who would win. But what really interested Vivex was not the Hunger Games themselves, but the glory of winning. She and her family lived average lives in an average house, not the worst living conditions, but certainly not the best. But not far from where she lived was the Victor's Village, the place of Viv's dreams.
From a young age she had to take care of her siblings while they weren't in school. (Her parents spent their days at work. Her father was always coming home exhausted and in foul moods. Her mother would come home drunk most nights, which was a blessing for Viv because she was much easier to deal with that way.) Vivex hates children because of this. Because she had to take care of them she couldn't spend as much time as she would have liked training. She has sworn to never have children of her own because they would always get in her way. She always thought if I could get into the Hunger Games I'd be sure to win, but her name has never been drawn from the bowl.
When she was 15 she was gifted, for her birthday, a diary with a lock and key and everything. At first she was dissapointed; It was, after all, a sure sign that her parents did not believe her strong enough to bring the family honor by winning the games. But she soon found that she enjoyed writing very much. Eventually writing became her main activity.
