Personality

The first thing that people comment on when they first meet Laura, is that she is always smiling. Indeed, she is a very optimistic person, always looking at the bright side in things and she is always there for encouragement or a laugh. But Laura is a very emotional person and feels many more emotions then just happiness. She cries buckets of salty tears when the slightest thing goes wrong, and shouts and screams like a spoiled baby when she is angry. She is a very emotional person.

Laura's deep blue eyes can look at a person's eyes and she instantly thinks that she knows what is wrong with someone, and she is sometimes right. Then she will try to comfort that person is they are down or giggle at a funny joke that they just told. Many say that she understands everyone, but really, she just knows how to observe and care. Shouting matches are common between Laura and her mother if she gets mad. To other people though, Laura tries to keep her temper down.

One bad trait about Laura is that she never expresses her own emotions. She keeps them bottled up inside her and never lets other people know about them. As an effect, Laura has a lot of stress and tension. She tries to calm herself, but sometimes she isn't always successful. She is quiet, preferring to listen than to talk, but she isn't a shy person.

Appearance

Because she grew up without much physical activity or hard labor, Laura doesn't have much muscles. Her build is slim, meant for speed more than strength. She is also very tall, and is a lean person that is almost a full head above an average full grown woman. Her body gives an impression of being frail, her skinny arms and legs, completed with a thin and narrow certainly does show that. Laura has long legs, perfect for running, which she does do well.

Laura prizes and loves her hair more than any other features of her body. Her hair is medium length and tumbles naturally around her shoulders. It is a light ginger color and is caught up in a wave up twists and curls. She just recently cut her hair to include wispy side bangs against her forehead. Laura's eyes are a light blue and stormy gray color. They are always shining with liveliness. She has orange freckles splattered occasionally across her face and deep dimples whenever she smiles. Her teeth are not very well taken care of, resulting in stained and yellow teeth and her lips are forever chapped and peeling. Her skin is also faintly pock marked from when she got the ckicken pocks.

For clothes style, Laura likes to wear tight faded jeans and frilly shirts. She loves to color coat her outfits to match her favorite color, which is blue. And she can never be seen without her large silver hoop earrings.

History

As a young girl, Laura had a happy life. She would play all day and she wouldn't have to work until she turned twelve. Her family consisted of herself, her mother, and her father. When Laura was eight, her mother had a baby. Actually, she had twin boys.

A few days later, her father got pneumonia and since he was already weak, he died from it. The family was left with Laura and her mom and two babies to care for, and Laura had to get a job before she turned twelve. They were left in depression. But despite that, Laura's twin brothers grew up and she loved them. They have bright orange hair and many freckles across their faces.

Laura and her mother work as goat breeders. They get a lot of milk, cheese, and other dairy products from their goats. They also sell the goats and their products to make a living. This small amount of money helps the family get by. Everyday, she goes out to milk the goats, make cheese and butter, and bargain their goats. This life is the only life that Laura has ever known, and there is not escaping that.

When Laura was around the age of twelve, she got the chicken pocks and they were so bad that everyone thought that she was going to die, like her father before her, but she was tough and lived through it, making her even stronger than before. She has more determination to hold onto life and love the ones that you care about, as she almost lost her life angry at her mother. Now, Laura tries to keep her attitude in check when she talks to her mother or anyone else, and never leave them menally wounded. While many say that this diesease was terrible, Laura thinks that it was a good turn in her life, the thing that kept her going.
