Here we go again...

As you may or may not know, I've been going through a rough time lately. And most of you don't know me well enough to care, or have too many things going on in your life to even notice. I stated that I would be come back in a few months, or over the summer. And I had really hoped with all my heart that that would happen.

But lately, I've been taking a look at myself in the mirror and thinking to myself, "what happened to you?" And I can honestly say that this site has changed me in many ways, and most of them have been bad. Ever since I joined this site, I'm not the same person I used to be. I've been horrible to my parents, I notice my grades dropping and missing assignments accumulating, and my whole life has started to revolve around this site. So I think that it's my time to leave.

I need to reprioritize my life, and I think that removing this site from my daily life is a good move for me to make right now. I have other things to accomplish, and goals to meet.

I've come to love every last one of you on this site. The hardest part for me is letting go of these relationships that I've had the honor to be a part of. Each and every one of you is like family to me, and you guys have no idea how much your love and support has helped me through life. I honestly don't know where I'd be in life if I hadn't had the blessing to meet all of you. I don't want to lose a relationship with any of you, so I want you to know that my email is available on my profile, and all of you are free to send me one to keep in touch. To those who have my phone number, my phone is always on for you guys. I have a Skype, and my username is the same as my login, 'pikasoccer'.

As for my characters, I'm going to say that they died. I sincerely apologize to anyone that I was in a thread with, but I need you to understand that this is what I need to do.

so i originally just posted a little sad face, but i didn't quite think that was fair, especially after all you've provided for me. pika, you were a really supportive person and overall, a really great gal. in fact, you were one of the few people i was still able to keep some sort humane connection with. around you, i didn't have to be as inhibited as i usually am. i bottled up a lot of thoughts and feelings, in and out of this place. and you were there every now and then to help me sort of let them go, which i appreciate.

and i do this now because i most certainly know a little sad face wouldn't have expressed a fraction of what i had to say before you go. sure, when we talked with keep cool 'wings' and loud, spastic 'aradia' (i think that's her name) i was kind of quiet and truth be told really despondent. for a while now, i've been pretending i'm pretty happy. i mean, there's absolutely no drama in my life. my mom's keeping her cool. my dad's happy. my brothers are succeeding and so am i. but it seems now that everything is relatively "on course", i've lost a motive. i guess you could call it an identity crisis. and whenever you or anybody else would come in and say "hey, i wanna be your buddy" or "you alright?", i felt, for a brief moment, better. i felt like a little boy who's never been genuinely invited to a birthday party because everyone assumed he has it great. which actually translates into my real life. so, yeah. i felt like you and everyone else who helped were the nice people who finally invited me. and, i haven't been as appreciative as i should've been, so here we are. and i'm sorry for going off like this. i'm tired, and sort of scared. it's also selfish of me to do this because i sort of thought while some people were leaving and kind of parting on some last, divulging words, i could sort of slip in there and reveal a little bit of what's been going on lately. so grades are good, i've got some friends, and my family is fine. now all i need is a goal. you were there to divert me from a long, frightening path of life that i've avoided for some time now. and i appreciate that. i needed it.
