Phoenix usually struggled with pre packaged foods. Usually, she only really ate berries from the small bushes she could find on the edge of the district or whatever raw food she could get from the store. Her mother, as crazy as ever, sat mumbling in the tent about something unintelligable. Phoenix, who was quite in her element with seeing her diabolical mother rub her fingers together in a scheme of some kind.
Phoenix knew that her mother was just another drop in the bucket. Everyone in this district was insane. Her included. She knew that at one point she was at least. She stalked someone... that raped her. She shuddered and eyed the small corner that was in her eye. A slight tear fell down her eyes, one tear sliding down her cheek. It caught in the light and made Phoenix a bit more weepy looking. She rubbed away the two crystal-glass tears and brought her hands back to her side.
Now, back to the prepackaged foods. Phoenix held onto the small package of crackers and gave it a tug. Failing, she pulled at the light brown paper packaging. She had finally caved in a week ago from not spending money. She wouldn't need those new binoculars if her life kept on spiraling as it was. Phoenix had finally caved into buying some salted crackers from the grochers and now was nibbling on the edge of them.
Phoenix had always liked salty foods, especially when she was younger. Well, weeks wise, but still. She would kneel in the bushes and be Phoenix. The normally apathetic, stalkerish Phoenix. Yet now, Phoenix was a bit scarred. She really didn't to think of the details of the encounter with Bear... it was a bit tragic and a bit hide-in-the-dark.
Thats why when Phoenix decided to finally go back into the woods to remember the slight interference that had thrown her off track. Curled into a slight ball, she had looked up to the sky and watched the leaves flicker with their green hues. She watched the sky as it branched out above her, she plucked mentally a leaf. She would remember waking up in this same way, watching the leaves show their true colors. The flecking that she caught in the corner of her eyes made her sit up, and grab the package of crackers that sat by her.
She was suddenly scared. By no means did she want to be raped again. "Uh, hello?" [/blockquote][/blockquote]
