Xavier Alecks was never the type of person who looked for fights. He was the complete opposite actually. Always trying to fix things with words. But people can change their opinion when such a life changing event occurs. And Xavier Alecks witnessed an event like the one previously mentioned. Oh, yes he did.
It was 9:00 at night, and he was bringing the boat he worked on towards the docks. That's when his eyes locked on a lonely girl in the corner. He had always been a ladies man, and wished to help her, so he tied the boat up quickly, and jogged over to her location. His thoughts were jumbled. He knew he could do this, but something was wrong. Either way, he wanted the girl, so he continued towards her.
"May I ask what a beautiful girl like you is doing on a horrible night like this?" The words flowed out of his mouth with ease. It was his talent after all. The girl didn't answer though. And before any emotion could cross Xavier's mind, he was jumped. Three men, all armed, had jumped out from behind walls to the houses spread along the road. Things were looking bad for Xavier. Three men with tridents were about to kill one teenager, unarmed and all.
The first man jumped, and Xavier did all he could do. Fight back. He threw a punch at the man, finding the soft part of the man's face. It sent the man falling back, without his weapon. Little did he know, Xavier's other hand had already grabbed onto it. It would've been easy to kill a man. Xavier just needed to send the trident into the man's body, and that would be it. It's the consequences that are the worse. The jail, where he was sure to be beaten. The emotional stress. Ah, that one was the worse. They would haunt him every night, making sure he felt bad for the things he had done. But what did he care. It was a world of survival, and survive he had to do. He pushed the trident through the man's chest, opening three deep wounds. Blood splattered onto him. And he would've been fine. Maybe he would've let the other men go, because they were starting to flee now. He probably would have. Except one drop of blood sprang up higher than the rest, and landed right on the tip of Xavier's tongue, just waiting to be swallowed. And it was. And so began the blood lust that Xavier has to this day. He finished off the other two men with ease, and then dipped his fingers in the blood, to see if the taste was the same as before. It must've been, because he stood up, chased after the girl, and bit into her neck, ignoring the screams that followed. He fled that scene that day, and lived his life normally. But the blood lust would return.
Like it did today. He went to the battlefield, looking for one thing, and one thing only. Blood.
And he would get it, even if it was the last thing he did.
