The door opened smoothly, unlike most of the shacks I was used to back in District 4. I clutched my bag closely, looking around the clean room smelling of burning fires and clean pines. I took a large whiff, enjoying the smell of the wild. It was different than the common smell of salt and water and fish. I looked around the room. It was big and spacious, consisting of one larger and three- Wait. What the hell is this? Some kind of joke. There's one huge elegant bed sitting to the side, decorated with golden lining and everything. Then, there's a smaller bunk-bed to the other side. The freaking husband huh? That's right. I'm sharing with Luc and Greenuck. Greenuck. The name was familiar. Maybe it was mentioned once or twice in my conversations with Lucan. I'd have to get to know him some time. We'd be spending every night together for the next while.

Now, I had to make a decision. I never really liked making decisions. I was given one when I was young. Try and get my arm attached and possibly lose control of it, or purchase an expensive replacement and always have a metal hand for my years in life. It took me a few days of living with a stump, ultimately leaving me with only one choice. I sometimes regret taking so long. So, I look around the room quickly to make my decision as quick as possible. My eyes scan the beds. Ah, what the hell. Elegance bitch!

I spend the next while putting my clothes into the closet. My shirts are placed neatly on hooks, hanging from the pole that ran across. My shorts, both normal and swim shorts were neatly arranged on a bottom shelf, followed by the various shoes and accessories on the lowest. My socks and underwear filled a small drawer. I tossed the bag into the top, taking out all the smaller things to put next to the bed. That included a book, phone, water bottle, my watch and a hat. I then go to the bed, laying down, spreading myself out. Nice and comfortable. I can just imagine Lucan coming in. This bed is obviously for him. But why not take it. Of course I'd take it.

I slowly began to doze off, dreaming of many different things. Mainly, the girl. The special night was trying to play in my mind, not actually clear as day. All I know is that she bit me and that we were intimately close that night. I can't say I didn't like the dream either. I saw her perfectly in my mind. Her eyes were watching as if I was there. Her mouth spreads in a smile, her face coming closer. Her head turns slightly, her mouth puckers up, going towards my neck. Then gently, she kisses the wound. But she doesn't stop there. I feel the pain suddenly, and I pull back, feeling the blood begin to drip. Her mouth is covered in blood, her eyes showing darkness. "What the fu-"

uuucccccccccck!"[/color] I yell, shooting up into a sitting position. Just in time too. I hear somebody approaching. I grab my book, pulling the glasses from it and sit comfortably against the wall. Sucker! Still, even though I was joking, that dream worried me. I needed to know about her. I wanted to. Who was that girl?[/center][/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify]

The twenty-one year old stepped up to the door that lead to his room, twisted the knob, and pushed. The door swung open, revealing the inside of his new home for the week. The first thing he noticed, however, wasn't the furniture or the wallpaper or anything of the like; his eyes immediately fell upon the most beautiful and appealing sight before him: Mayson Slade. The younger boy's eyes were down, his nose buried in a book. And he was on Lucan's bed.

The extremely tall man entered the room, shutting the door behind him. Ambling closer the the bed, he strained his eyes to see across the mattress and find what book the boy was reading. From where he stood, the words all jumbled together and seemed like foreign letters. Then, Lucan realized that Mayson was holding the novel upside down. A little grin crept across the fiance's face, and he spoke.
"Hey, Mayson? You know you are either extremely talented—" Lucan slid his shoes off, sliding his knees up onto the bed and crawling towards the boy "—or trying to cover for something."

With a smirk, Lucan pulled the book from the boy's hands, and turned it right side up. "Better?" Taking the moment to laugh for a bit, he leaned back against the wall beside Mayson and sighed. It was a shame he hadn't gotten to know the boy sooner. From what he could see on the surface, the young adult was quite the trip. From reading books upside down to being downright gorgeous, Lucan could tell he already rather enjoyed Mayson's presence, and was quite glad the two ended up in the same room. And no, Lucan definitely didn't make the room assignments and put Mayson Slade in his room because he wanted to stare at him when he got out of the shower, what are you talking about? That's the farthest thing from his mind.

Leaning against the wall while sitting up on his comfortable, luxurious bed made him realize that the room itself was rather small. Other than his bed, not much else occupied it that caught his eye other than the bunk beds across from his bed. So, what if Lucan had made sure to have the largest bed of the rooms? He needed it. He was easily the tallest creature attending the wedding, and he didn't need back problems because of him being scrunched up on a tiny bed. Maybe it was a good thing Greenuck was in this room after all; he was incredibly short for a Career. Mayson, on the other hand, was fairly tall himself. Maybe Lucan could find a way to persuade the boy to stay in the bed with him? Only for his back purposes, of course. Passing a glance over at the boy, Lucan's chest rose heavily and came crashing down. Mayson was just so eye-catching, so completely astounding that Lucan could hardly contain himself. Sex was what he really wanted on this trip—hey, sex was all he really wanted out of life besides Amadi's protection—and sex he would get. And everyone knew having sex with the fiancee before your wedding was bad luck.

The boy being in that close of a vicinity to Lucan while alone in a bedroom caused the man to have short breaths, and something excited him about it all. It was fairly common knowledge that Lucan Allen Hale was a horndog, but no one had ever enticed him as much Mayson. Something about the boy was indescribably wonderful. Lucan couldn't explain the feelings bubbling inside of him; in fact, he didn't even know how he felt himself. All he knew was he wanted it. And he would get it.

Quickly hopping up off the side of the bed, he walked over to the door and slid the lock closed. Now no one could get in while this endeavor was occurring. Lucan didn't want spectators anyway. Turning back to the boy, he said,

"Er, I hope you don't mind, May. I need to change clothes." As Lucan traipsed back over to the bed where Mayson rested, he licked his lips slowly and began to pull his own shirt off of his body; however, before he got the article over his head, it "got stuck" on his neck. With his arms in the air and his shirt almost completely off, Lucan faced Mayson and asked, "Could you help me here? I'm stuck."[/center]

The door opens, revealing almost seven foot of muscle. I know who it is right away. Nobody else at the wedding is as tall as me. "If it isn't the big man himself." I laugh, pretending to still read my book. ...pןoɔ sı pǝq ǝɥʇ ɟo ǝpıs ɹǝɥʇo ǝɥʇ 'dn ǝʞɐʍ ı uǝɥʍ What the fuck is this? Some sort of gibberish book? Suddenly Lucan appears close on the bed, pulling the book from my hands and setting it back. When I wake up, the other side of the bed is cold... Now it makes sense. I toss the book to the side. "Look at you. Finally got smart?"

"Better?" He asks, his laugh erupting and echoing in the room. He's suddenly a lot closer than I thought he'd come. Then he's off the bed. I watch as his body of muscle pushes himself down the bed. The way the muscle on his arms stands out against his tanned skin. The way his hair just- What the fuck am I doing?! I shake my head, rubbing my eyes. Gabby must really be getting to me. The girl. Was that her name? It must mean that she told me. So, I'm not insane.

But suddenly, Lucan is removing his shirt. I'm definately insane. "Could you help me here? I'm stuck." I laugh, pushing myself off the bed. "Just as you were starting to impress me. Nice job Hale." I grin, grabbing onto the bottom of his shirt. That's when I realize how close I am, his body heat radiating off the soft skin, almost glimmering from the small amount of light shining in. His abs are chiseled as if professionally from stone, making my decent set of muscles look like a joke. I'm just slightly shorter, my eyes well enough aligned with his, my mouth just there, getting closer and closer and closer.

And then my lips touch, just slightly. I feel as if electricity runs down my spine, zapping me at each second. I pull back, my face distorted. Act like that was stupid. What the hell Mayson! But it wasn't stupid because well, I actually liked it. I rub my hand across my lip, still feeling the dampness from the contact. I don't want to look into Lucan's eyes to see his reaction because my cheeks are flaming up. Just fucking great Mayson. You go to a wedding for a buddy you pass every morning and now you just kissed him. What. The. Fuck. I run my hand through my hair, my common method of relieving stress. Hell, what am I thinking. I just kissed the husband to be of a great girl.

"Listen Lucan. I'm sorry. I don't know what happened. I just-" I begin, unable to finish because of the strong urge that tries to control my body. It's bringing me closer, like we are opposite ends of a magnet, attracted by common physics laws. It's even making me a freaking scientist. I toss his shirt to the side, finally looking up and right into his eyes. And that's it. I take another step forward, pressing my lips against his once more. It's brief again, but just enough to receive the same shock and to calm the same urges that beg for more. "I think I'm tired."
