Dimitri glanced around the empty gym, wondering exactly what he should work with first. Normally he had a routine that he would follow to a 'T' but today it just didn't feel right to him, and he didn't know exactly why. Chalking it up to laziness Dimitri stood up from the chair he was sitting in, and walked over to the weights. Sometimes, he thought to himself, being a Career Trainer was just too much work to be worth it. He shook his head downward, whipping the thoughts from his head. He should not be thinking about his beloved Capitol that way, they wanted him to become a Career Trainer and everything happened for reason and him being a Career Trainer was no different.
Dimitri walked over to the weight section and began to do curl-ups, fifty with each arm before changing stations. The weights which were about one-hundred pounds, barely made him brake a sweat. He then walked over to the pull-up bar and did seventy-five of them, which was a completely arbitrary number that had been the first to come to his mind.
Satisfied with how much he worked his arms, Dimitri pulled out a yoga mat, laid down and began to do sit-ups. Dimitri hated sit-ups because he thought that they used more energy that they were worth in muscle mass, but he needed to maintain the stomach muscles just the same. After about 150 of them, he moved on to hyper-extensions and leg ups for back strength doing about one-hundred fifty of each.
Finally after looking at his watch, Dimitri realized that he had been working for about two hours and that he was beginning to dehydrate. He took a few swigs of his bottle over a period of about fifteen minutes or so and then went over to his weighted vest and ankle weights. Once he had them firmly secured he began to run on the track through the woods outside his house.
This track was well within the district lines but the dirt path was much like those you would find within the arena in the Games, which kind of was the point. He finished the five mile run in about thirty minutes and cooled down for another fifteen intermingled with sipping of water slowly.
"That was a good improvise," Dimitri mumble to himself and looking at his watch, "Though I fear it was more like my normal routine edited and mixed up." The more and more he thought about it, the more he knew he was just a creature of habit and he shouldn't try to change that.
He walked back into the house and into the shower, stripping off his sweaty close and throwing them into the hamper in the corner of his room. He let out a gasp as the hot water came into contact with his tightened muscles and calmed him. After making sure all the sweat was thoroughly off his body, he went to his room.
His room was sparsely decorated, just a bed, two dressers with nothing on top but his I-pod which he only used for super long work outs, and a book shelf with a few novels he had read ten or so times each. He reached in the drawer, pulled out jeans and a white tee-shirt, and a pair of socks. He quickly put them on, slipped into a pair of sneakers, and walked out of the house.
He walked downtown and looked around the shops until he saw a clothing store. Walking inside of the building, he tried to pick out clothes, being that he had a new job and a ton of money now he could. Finding a few pairs of designer jeans, button-up shirts that had skulls, designs, and other things on them, even grabbing a few black tee-shirts and a new pair of sneakers he walked out leaving about $400.00 on the register.
Bags in hand Dimitri was looking at his phone when he slammed into someone. "Ugh, what the HELL?" He spat as he barely stumbled and looking just below his eye level to see a really cute girl. She had long blonde hair and was, well, stunning.
"Hey sexy, if you wanted to touch me so much you could have just asked." With that Dimitri smirked the smile that made almost every girl swoon and winked in her direction.
