Sarah continued drying her hair as she got ready for her date, running her check list over her mind, each step crossing as she conitued. She unplugged her hairdryer and pulled out a straitener and straitened her hair. As the last of it fell over her shoulder in a curtain, she plugged in yet another hair item, a curler. She curled her hair in little ringlets, letting her bangs fall along, framing her face, as the rest of the curls were up in a high bun. She took a quick look in the mirror at her hair before pullin out her make-up bag.
When grabbing her make-up bag and digging through it, she found her brown eyeliner and apllied enough just to make her eyes pop and then put it away. Next she put a small amount of red eyeshadow on in a shadow like pattern before putting that away as well. Next, she grabbed her red mascara and put it on her eye lashes. Satisfied but how she looked, she went to her final bit of make-up and put on bright red lip stick.
Looking at herself a fianl time in the mirror, and primping her hair, she left her bathroom and walked to the small tiled part of her room. She grabbed a tub of body glitter, the good gold chips from the Capitol, and threw them up covering herself in them. She knew that this little tub could feed an entire District for a year in the lower Districts, but it was a gift from her brother so she might as well use it.
Happy with the glittery look to her body, she walked over to her closet and walked inside. At the far end, about twenty feet away, there was a red dress hanging out for her to grab. She walked over and stepped into it, pulling it up and zipping it.
The sleevless dress was made of an expensive red silk that came down to her mid thigh. It was tight in the chest and stomach area and flairred out lightly in the waiste and legs. She looked in the full length mirrort and was happy about the looks.
She walked over to the oppisite side of the closet and stepping into a pair of strapy red steletoes. She considered grabbing a jacket but decided against it because it wrinkled her dress top and she wanted to look perfect.
Walking into her room she grabbed her clutch, and walked toward her door, wobbling over the carpet a little but quickly regaining her balance, and stood in her doorway. She looked back, wondering if she forgot anything.
Remembering quickly she walked over to her night stand and pulled out a diamond encrusted switch blade. She slipped it in her clutch, because honestly you never know who would want a fight, and left her room closing and locking the door to her bedroom on the way out.
She walked down the steps, chuckling as she heard her heels click on the floor. She hated that sound but it made her laugh all the same, which was quite a cunundrum.
Down the second flight of stairs she walked out into the living room to where she sat down trying to calm her nerves, she wanted this daet to go perfectly, but something ALWAYS had to rain on her parade.
As she sat there, Dimitri cam walzing into the room like he owned the place and commenting that she looked nice. She was so frustrated with him because more than his fair share of times in this past week he had tried to get her to take back her yes answer to Allen but she refused.
She looked at him up and down, noticing the fact that he was dressed for a date himself. She left herself a mental note to figure out who that was and why she didn't already know about it in the first place.
Then the door bell rang through her house. She took one more calming breath and opened the door. The cool autumn air blew on her skin and made her regrete momentarily that she didn't grab her sweater.
She looked out into the night, seeing the darkness and the one person she found that she wanted to spend this night with. "Hello Allen." She said with a slight wave as her face broke out into a smile.

Dimitri looked at his watch as he put on his white button up shirt and black pants. He half considered not going because it would mean that he would have to spend more time with Allen, but he immediately pushed the thought from his mind because Luxa was more than work it.
He put a pair of black shoes on, grabbed his black sport coat, put his wallet and phone in its pocket, and left his room. He locked the floor and put his keys in his inside pocket, making the long trek to the bottom of the two flights of stairs.
On the way down he saw his adoptive father reach out his hand with a small wrapped box. Confused he took it, opening it and muttering a thank you. When he opened it he smelt a wonderfully musky and brooding scent of the new aftershave.
Running into the side bathroom he put t on and pulled his slightly wet hair back in a tiny ponytail and walked to look out the window. He was due to pick Luxa up at 7:00pm and it was 6:30pm as of right now so he would have to leave soon.
He was on his way out when Sarah walked into the room, looking beautiful. He cursed himself for being related to Sarah otherwise he’d be dating her or at least flirting like all hell but alas the world doesn’t like him.
He looked her up and down for a second, as a brother nothing more, and complimented her, keeping the topic from Allen whom always drove him to insanity. “You look beautiful Sar.”
Sarah had responded with a generic answer, but Dimitri wasn’t offended by this. She definitely had her mind on her date. With that Dimitri left the house to pick up Luxa.
Walking the quiet streets of the District, Dimitri looked around the shops and resisted the urge to go into them, now was not the time to do that.
He walked up to Luxa’s front door, and rung the bell. He prayed she answered the door, because parents could just be awkward. The door opened.
