Liliana Rhyson
What am I doing? Liliana sat down in the grass right where she was, closing her eyes and pulling her knees up to her chest. What was wrong with her? The dreams were getting worse and worse. Most of the time, they weren't even about anything realistic. They were just... terrifying. She didn't understand why she even believed them. During the dream, she knew it wasn't real, but she couldn't help it. It was like the dreams almost forced her to believe. The one that had landed her here was like that. One minute, she had been walking home the next minute, a hole had opened up in the ground and she was engulfed in darkness.
Liliana didn't know how long that lasted. Nothing else happened, it was just as if the earth had swallowed her, and she was stuck. She couldn't very well judge the time. She assumed about an hour, but the length of the dreams were inconsistent. When it was over, she just suddenly fell out of the dream. It just stopped. Back in reality, she found herself right where she was now. Which she had absolutely no idea where that happened to be. Well, she should have expected this. The dreams always got worse near the Reapings. She just couldn't control it.
She shook her head and looked up, eyes wide. She didn't recognize where she was, but she assumed that during the dream, in reality she had just continued walking the way she was headed, passing her house. There was no way to tell, but she it was the best guess she had. She sighed and stood up, turning in what she hoped was the right direction. She had better start walking. It wasn't like anyone else was going to help her.
What's wrong with me? she thought. Why can't I stop this?
