None of my characters have been selected as tributes, but I'd like to ask somethings encase one of mine is chosen.

1. If your tribute took the trapping station, can they leave traps in the area for other tributes to fall for? Accidentally or on purpose.
2. How many traps can you set in one day?
3. If your tribute took the edible plants station, will they be able to poison other tributes?
4. Can a tribute kill them self?

An unrelated question:
5. Can a charter I make be Albino? (Little/No pigmentation in hair eyes or skin. Specifically platinum blonde hair, red pupils and pink iris's and pale skin.)

I may ask more if they come up in my head. Thank you.

So I'm no expert on the arena so you probably might want a second opinion (although I do know a little, seeing that I've had 2 tributes but still), probably from Aya or something b/c she knows all the rules.

1) I don't believe that they can trap others because it would not only be impractical (b/c people can see your threads in advance) but I believe that it's just used for trapping animals (see another staff member about this - I'm not 100% sure)

2) You can set 1 trap per day

3) I believe you're allowed to attempt to poison other tributes, but that would require a different die, and you'd probably be poisoning your ally if you wanted to do that

4) yes - we've had some tribute-suicides in the past

5) Your character may be albino (I haz one ) but albinos do not have platinum blonde hair (the hair be white - there's very little pigmentation), the skin would be very pale and the iris would be red, not the pupil (the pupil is the middle of the eye - the black part)

Hello. ^^ Shrimp mentioned a second opinion, so as long as I'm here I figured I may as well throw one in. Here you are~!

1.) Nope, sorry- no trapping of tributes is allowed (unless, of course, both tributes are in the same area on a given day and the RPers arrange it between themselves, in which case knock yourself out). As Shrimp said, it would be hard to pull off what with threads being open to all; a PM system could be set up, but that would get unweildy very quickly, and even then it would require extra dice and such, adding to the already-complex combat system. Trapping is only used for catching food.

2.) Once per day would be correct.

3.) Poison attempts are allowed, but you need to contact the head Gamemaker of whatever Games you're part of in order to get information on how to go about it and what the dice involved are.

4.) Absolutely! People usually don't do it because they're out to win, but if anyone wants to, the option is always open to have characters kill themselves (either on purpose or accidentally). You can also talk to another RPer and have their character kill yours if you want out of the Games but don't feel like using suicide or an accident to kill the unlucky character off.

5.) Albinos are definitely allowed. As with any medical condition, you'll want to poke around with a bit of research so you can write them realistically, but there are absolutely no rules against them. The last thing we want to do is limit creativity. ^^

I don't think I've actually clarified anything here that Shrimp didn't already say, but hopefully I confirmed some stuff. =) Good luck should you get Reaped in the near future!
