Pain is unimaginable. Once it stops, you forget what it feels like. It makes you want it. And if you give it to yourself you remember why you never wanted it in the first place. But this pain was something different.
It was a peaceful day in summer. Sunlight shining through the trees, creating intricate patterns on the forest floor. Every now and then, a deer would flit in and out of sight, but always staying playfully out of sight. We see a young adult, dressed all in blue, chasing down a small rabbit, running topsy turvy down a tree covered hill. Suddenly, the rabbit bolts into its hole, and the youth runs right past it, trips on a stump, and lands headfirst into a ditch.
That was then, this is now.
This same youth, by the name of Jace Beleren, was in about the same situation, except the rabbit was a ravenous grizzly bear, the nice summer day was replaced by a winters day right after a blizzard, and, wouldnt you know, the ditch was now a tree that he was clinging to for dear life. all he had been trying to do was inspect a sickly looking bear cub, when all of a sudden this pissed off mother grizzly bursts through the undergrowth, tries to bite Jaces head off, and claws his left leg. He ended up running straight out into the winter wonderland, and straight up the nearest tree. And despite all that had happened, the only thing that he could think of, with a mother grizzly snapping at his heels, was, "I wonder how strong those teeth are."
