Urbain opened the big dark oak doors, the entrance to his sanctuary. He always admired the doors to the library. They were so beautifully engraved, a work of art, quite like what lay inside.
Knowledge was such a beautiful thing, learning was its own type of art. So many possibilities, so many thing to be discovered, the mind was a blank canvas, just waiting to be painted. However, his brain was more colorful than most. He was exposed to the greatest piece of information man could ever wish for. He knew the real secret of the world. He came face to face with actual aliens, the key to the new world and way of living. People were idiots not to listen to him. He tried to share his intelligence, but people just laughed.
People could learn so much from Urbain. Panem needs to be protected from the aliens. When the attack Panem will be defenseless. He had to much to offer.
Urbain walked to his favorite section of the library wearing his black creased pants and tucked in sweater. The sweater was a hideous combinations of teals and reds. He wore his reading glasses, which her even thicker than his regular everyday glasses.
Urbain liked to read at the same table, it was his and he didn't really like giving it up. It was in the far right of the library, and very secluded from the others. Not only was it separated from the others, but it was very close to the astronomy section. Since the abduction, Urbain has seemed to take a liking to astronomy.
Although today Urbain didn't feel like astronomy. In his had was a very thick purple book labeled PETROGRAPHY, Because it's a rockin' subject. The title really made Urbain crack up. It really was a hilarious title. Urbain loved the occasional science humor, it was the best type of humor.
Reaching his lovely little spot, Urbain threw the book on petreoraphy on the table and got out his hand sanitizer whips. If there was something Urbain loved more than books and information, it was leaning supplies.
Urbain stared at his table thinking who used it last. He prayed no body, but the chances of that were slim. Actually come to think of it, quite the opposite. Nobody used the library, and today it seemed completely deserted. Still, he didn't want to risk it. Plus, even if no one used this table there would still be filthy bacteria. Those nasty vicious molecules that reproduce ever twenty minutes! In a few hours the one bacteria molecule could create a colony, which could create a bigger colony which could take over the world! Oh no, oh no! Bacteria is everywhere. Lord help me.
The thoughts of a bacteria army made Urbain's breathing become a bit more shallow and he began scrubbing his chair and table at a alarming speed. As soon as he was satisfied with the cleaning job, he slowly sat down trying to calm down a bit. He always worked himself like that, he need to take a breather once in awhile, but he couldn't remember how.
Urbain flipped open the first page then looked around the library. It was so empty, which was a real shame. There was so much opportunities here. At the opposite end of the library was an elderly man reading a small novel, and across from him was a teenager that looked board to tears with a history book opened staring blankly at it. Now, that is no way to properly study, perhaps I'll go over in a bit and give him some real pointers. Urbain thought to himself. Of course there were still the librarians, one of them was putting some books away and the other seemed passed out on the counter.
Returning his view on the book on petrography, he began reading about rocks. "Chapter one. Igneous Rocks"
