Name: Shade Mono District: 7

Shade has dark brown hair that stops about halfway down his neck. he has brown eyes and has skin with a slight tan. He looks everything like a normal District 7 boy. A medium sized neck, normal sized eyes, a bowl headed hair style. His ears are round, he doesnt have any problems with hearing. His nose sticks out about a half an inch. There is one flaw to his appearence, though. His nails grow faster than most womens nails do and he has to cut them atleast once every 2 and a half weeks.

Shade helps his mother carry flower to his home, so he has a somewhat muscular build to his arms. He runs, when he can, to keep in-shape, so his legs are long and are about 5 8ths of his height. He weighs 130 pounds and is 5'11" tall. He prefers to wear sweatpants with a regular t-shirt, which he wears almost all the time, except on reaping days when he wears more suited clothes.

Shade is one of those loud and funny types of guys. He can make friends, but cant maintain a friendship cause his sense of humor gets in the way sometimes. He is nosy, which mostly gets him in trouble, and when ever he hears his name he butts in and thinks he's in trouble, depending on the conversation he overhears before he hears his name.

Shade is very generous and rarely ever talks back to anyone. His generousity has put him into life threatening situations over the years. He once filled out a tesserae 10 times. One for him and his mom, and the rest to feed his friend who had a family of 6, a total of 11 times was a slip with his name on it in the bowl. His mother told him never to do that again, although not wanting to, listened to his mother.

He is an excelent bow-man and whenever he can he practices shooting them. He also excels at making bows, but ironicly, not arrows. He sells his bows as another way to make money. Since he is good at making bows, and uses knives to make them, he is good at using and throwing knives. he can hit a target with a knive by throwing it from 50 ft away and can hit something with a bow from 100 ft away.

Shade can barely keep a job. He thinks its because he looks alot like his dad and his dad did horrible things and was eventually turned into an Avox for the capitol. The weird thing is, he gets fired from his job for no reason. Shade just works and out of the blue his boss calls him and tells him that he cant work there anymore. He's good at every job he applys for. He keeps jumping from job to job all over town.

As i said in Shades personallity field, he is very generous. He was at a reaping and heard one of his best friends get called. Shade almost volunteered in his place, but then reconsidered it after his mother glared at him not to. After the reaping, Shade got extremely upset at his mother. After the debate with his mother, Shade realized that if Shade were to go to the Hunger Games and die, then his mothers death would soon follow. Shades death corresponds with his mothers fate. He never volunteered for anyone ever again.

Shade was at the market one day, hunting for a good price for dinner with his mother. He had a knive in his pocket, it was well hidden so no one would think he was going to murder someone for his meal tonight. While Shade was lost in thought beside his mother, a thief ran towards his mother and yanked her bag from her hands. Shade then shook himself out of his thoughts and threw his knive at the thiefs hand, making the handle hit his hand so he dropped the purse. Shade knew he'd get punished anyway, but he took matters into his own hands. he grabbed the bag and threw a slice of bread, that was also hidden from view in his pocket, at the thief and walked toward his mother, handing his mother her purse and dragging her away from the scene.
