I wait in the silence for a while, taking sips of my water and watching the fish. I know that eventually one of us will bring something up, so I don't stress out about creating a conversation until I come up with something rather interesting. Galaxy, however, beats me to the chase. "So...Do you dye your hair a lot? Or has it been blue for a while?" she asks a bit timidly. A good question, if I do say so myself.
"I do dye it a bit. But this isn't the first time I've had this color. I almost always have this color. Sometimes I'll change it for a few days, or a week, but it always comes back to this wonderful shade of blue."
I am personally proud of my choice of hair color. I think it is nice on its own, plus it goes with a great many things. Especially since I've been accessorizing with the blue hair for so long. I once had this color with white tips to look wise, but it just looked like my hair was rotting. I will never have the tips a different color, the most I will do is highlights.
"Now I have a question for you. What's the story with the eye? That is, if it's not a touchy subject."
I don't mean to be rude, I'm just curious. I've seen very few people with glass eyes in the Capitol. I know one person who had two glass eyes that had cameras and motors hooked up to hi brain so he could see and move the eyes, but he was hit by a car because of the lack of peripheral vision. Not something I'm ever going to do for looks. Or at least, something I hope I'm never going to do. I really don't want the kind of attention that gets you. There's going far for good looks, and then there's going too far for looks. I try to be at the bottom end of far for good looks.
