"Mmph." Aeleze tweaked her hair, staring at the mirror in annoyance. It was becoming no less difficult and increasing more tedious to keep this flame thing going; she was going to have to change it at some point. It had been a while since she had done anything else with her hair, though, and she wasn't sure what to do with it... maybe she'd go back to her natural black.
But that wasn't the point right now. She turned away from the mirror and back to the materials she'd assembled. They'd given her the tribute's measurements before she'd made the costumes, but she wanted to make sure they fit right. And then there were accessories to deal with; never having done something like this before, she wasn't sure how everything would look, and there would be a lot of mixing and matching going on before she was done here.
A tiny black lamb wandered up to her, and she picked it up happily, laughing as it bleated in surprise before cuddling up to her. She hugged it for a few moments and then set it back down; it ran off to find its mother, a brown-wooled sheep. Two or three others meandered around the room; there would be more on the actual float, but then there would be more room on the float. These were only here to test out how the final effect would look.
She wondered if either of the tributes was allergic to sheep, and frowned. That would definitely put a kink in her plans. Maybe she could find some allergy medicine for the ceremony... Now why hadn't she thought of that possibility before? She wasn't out to make the tributes' lives miserable- they would be getting plenty of that soon enough, after all- and sincerely hoped that she hadn't just set out to do so. Feeling sheepish- haha, sheepish- she pulled out a digital notepad and made a reminder to look into that. Allergies were such a pain.
With a sigh, she turned to face the door, waiting for the tributes to come in.
