Age: 16
Gender: Male
District/Area: District 2
Appearance:
While Jonathan never cared for the ways the Capitol took to look beautiful, he took pride in his appearance and worked hard to keep his body the way it is. Jonathan is six feet tall, and weighs about 160 pounds. He works out or runs every day to keep his body in shape. Especially with the possibility of being in the Hunger Games, Jonathan knows it's better to be in shape then to be fat. Plus, he takes pride in how he looks, and that's not a bad thing.Personality:
Jonathan has short, spiky, brown hair that he will occasionally dye blonde. He has big brown eyes, and while he tries to keep his face acne free, he struggles with that battle every day, just like all teens. His skin is pretty white. He's not pale, but when he spends to much time outside, he quickly turns bright red from sunburn. Jonathan often wonders why people in the Capitol change their looks so drastically. He's perfectly content with how he looks right now, and he doesn't understand why people would go to such extremes to change their bodies.
While Jonathan is a nice kid, he has been spoiled his entire life. With his parents both being doctors, Jonathan has lived a rich and happy life. He's gotten everything he's always wanted, and never had to go hungry. He doesn't realize how lucky he is, and how much poverty there is in the world. District two has been pampered by the Capitol, and it has caused Jonathan to live a rich and happy life. While some might see this as a good thing, it's also a downfall because Jonathan is used to always getting what he wants. It might be a difficult adjustment for Jonathan if this ever changes.History:
Even though he is spoiled, and has grown up getting everything he's ever wanted, Jonathan still is a nice kid. He always seems to make lots of friends, and everyone seems to get along with him. He's not mean or aggressive, and just has a pleasant personality. People just like to be around him. He's honest and caring, values the friendships he has made in his life. Jonathan can be a great friend, as long as you aren't jealous of the fact that he basically lives the perfect life.
While it seems that Jonathan does have the perfect life, he is quite confused about what his life is going to be like in the future. Jonathan often worries about the future, and he doesn't know what to do when he grows up. Both of his parents are doctors, but Jonathan has no interest in being a doctor, even though when he finishes school, he is almost 100 percent sure he will have to go into the medical field. He dreads the Hunger Games, and has no intention of being a Career tribute, knowing he would probably die in the bloodbath before the games even really began. Even though he is physically fit, and maybe could survive living in the wilderness, he doesn't think he has what it takes to kill another human being. Everyone always seems to have a great plan about what they are going to do after school. Jonathan really has no idea, and that worries him. He's constantly pondering about the future, especially what would happen if he did get reaped for the Hunger Games. So many thoughts running around in his head, and none of them even helping point him in the right direction of where to go. With only a few years of his childhood left, Jonathan needs to hurry up and figure out what he is going to do with his life.
Jonathan's parents are both successful and important doctors in District two. They often make trips to the Capitol to help take care of patients there, and have even helped in the Hunger Games once or twice. Usually, one of them is gone on a business trip, usually to district one or the Capitol, and most of the time Jonathan is left to do whatever he wants. Of course, when he isn't supposed to be in school. When Jonathan's parents are home, he does think that he is close to them. They like to spend time together, travel, and he does feel like he can go talk to them about anything. But, as he is getting older, and he can take care of himself, he finds that he is seeing his parents less and less these days.Codeword: odair
Being an only child, Jonathan has been quite spoiled. He gets whatever he wants, and has lots of money to go and buy whatever he wants. Jonathan usually can be found roaming other districts, looking at what they do for jobs, and what they have to buy. Jonathan's parents have been constantly reminding him that being a doctor is a great career. The problem is, Jonathan has never been interested in becoming a doctor. He knows that he has a very small chance of being able to do something different, but he still just isn't interested in the medical field. The sad thing is, he's going to just have to become a doctor or pharmacist, and deal with it for the rest of his life. Sometimes he wonders if getting chosen to be in the Hunger Games might not be such a bad idea. At least if he wins he won't have to work for the rest of his life.
Jonathan has grown up as a rich, spoiled kid from District Two, but he doesn't want the rest of his life to be like that. He hates that his parents are gone most of the time, and that his real family seems to be the staff that work in his home. He doesn't know what he wants to do with his life, but he doesn't want to continue in his parents footsteps, even if it really is his only choice for when he gets done in school. He dreams of doing something different with his life, but he just doesn't know what yet. It annoys Jonathan that he doesn't get to make a choice for what he wants to do. It's not fair that the Capitol decided that District Two was a medical district, and that he couldn't do something different with his life. Can't he just stay a kid forever? It would make things so much easier, and they probably do have a way to make you stay young in the Capitol. Jonathan has had a good life, but he is worried for what's to come. His future scares him because he doesn't know what it's going to bring, or if he's going to like what he has to settle for when he reaches that point of his life.
