Keegan Conrad;; [dist. 3] [fin.]

Keegan's face matches his personality: youthful and moderately charming. His facial structure his very minimal complexity to it, the only things that stand out in his own opinion would be his larger-than-life nose and chin that looks like it juts out if one were to look at it head on. The valleys, commonly referred to as dimples, sitting on either side of his bizarrely straight are often his favorite assets about himself. His mother had always told him that they made him more attractive than he should be. His eyes, showing a blue-grey color, are of different sizes with the left one being slightly larger looking than the right. Though he'll never admit it, Keegan takes great pride in his bushy, dark blond eyebrows due to the fact that he'd nearly lost them when foolishly playing with a burning twig only two years back. Not to mention, he thinks they make him look pretty damn sexy.

His body is built on a fairly thin frame, despite his claims of never being able to fit through a regular doorway. Small muscles ripple all along his body through years of running around and playing outside, showing little interest in sitting inside all day and fondling with electronics. His strength may not be much, but it's enough for him to be happy in his own skin. Speaking of skin, Keegan has a light beige complexion like any other white skinned person out there. He has unexplainable flat moles lightly dusted across his body. They could be a result of the sunburns he'd so often get from being in the sun for so long, but they have yet to pose any threat to him.

The mess of blond on Keegan's head is of very little concern to him. With the various natural highlights and darker portions of his hair, he can almost pull off the just-got-out-of-bed look. Almost. It was never a case of not being able to control it, but more of a case of never feeling the desire to control it. On occasion, Keegan would even shave his head to avoid the constant annoyance of his mother begging him to clean his head up a little. On even rarer occasions, the boy would even fix it up somehow to look presentable, but that is only when he knows his options are limited.

Upon meeting Keegan, one would automatically learn that he finds it rather difficult to take anything seriously and he acts more like a child than an actual child. His never ending teasing and joking can often be endearing to some, but an extreme annoyance to others. He prefers to hang around the latter. Keegan sometimes finds it entertaining to follow around those who don't usually enjoy his presence because he likes to try to win people over. There are very few instances when this little insect chooses not to buzz in someone's ear. This can either be viewed as a harmless, moderately entertaining act, or a trait that could one day get his fingers ripped off one by one, joint by joint. He'd prefer to challenge a person to do the latter.

Keegan's normally childish and teasing behavior can disappear in an instant if something were to trigger him. He can easily spiral into a depressed state if certain buttons are pushed, but he'll likely push them aside and deal with his feelings when no one is around to see. If other buttons are pushed hard enough, Keegan's words can easily become a flowing river of lava, burning in to a person's heart. He knows how to manipulate words to destroy a person's self esteem. Incidents caused by his anger have lost him more than enough friends and even originally strong relationships with family members. Though his dark side can be lethal, the little blond boy usually makes an honest effort at containing it.

All the joking and childish behavior masks Keegan's intellectual ways of thinking. He often breaks things down in his own mind and analyze situations until their is nothing left to think about it. Despite his disinterest in electronics, he knows his way around a computer and little pieces of wire. His brains is also often hidden by his own laziness and I-don't-really-feel-like-it attitude. Keegan himself would be the first to admit that he doesn't do well academically because he'd rather do something else.

A trait often hidden by this skinny 16-year-old is that he genuinely cares about everyone he comes across. No matter where their relationship lies, Keegan will be the first to ask if they're feeling okay. His kindness doesn't extend passed that in an obvious manner, but he'd try to do little things to help another person out. Though his compassionate state of mind is clear, he'd also rather drop dead than admit to doing an act of kindness to avoid embarassment of any kind.

Keegan Connell Conrad was born January 5th to two loving parents. As a young boy, Keegan's father, Connell, was taken by the Capitol and made in to an Avox. His mother, Juniper, never really talked about why it happened, but Keegan never really pushed her into telling him in the first place, choosing to go outside and mess around instead. He'd often drag his younger sister, Calia, out with him and somehow convince her to rub mud into her hair or something of the sort. The two share a close bond despite their trivial disputes they share twice a month. Keegan also shares a very close relationship with his mother. Juniper is often out working on a project that Keegan vaguely knows about, but when she's able to be at home with her children, the family share nothing but fun times. If Keegan were to have to take a bullet for anybody, it'd be one of the women of his family.

Growing up, Keegan never really tried very hard in school. He'd understand everything he was taught, but he never felt the desire to do any work and would rather throw paper airplanes at people's heads and laugh when a plane would get stuck in a girl's hair. He'd acted that way since he could remember. Despite Keegan's lack of motivation for academics, he'd always manage to do well enough to pass and advance to the next year without a problem. Some misconstrue Keegan's behavior as him being dimwitted, but he simply just could never find anything pleasing about doing well in class. His mother claims that his father acted exact like he did when it came to this topic.

Keegan never pressed the topic of his father. "Connell was a good man" was enough for him to hear. He'd never felt the need to know more about his father than what his memory served him, which were foggy in the first place. All Keegan knew was that his father was an Avox and that the man had done something bad enough for the Capitol to take him away from his wife and children. That was already more than what Keegan would've liked to have known.

Keegan never really had to work for much in his life, mainly because he never wanted more than a couple pieces of clothing and enough food to satisfy his hunger. He's constantly nagged by his family to find a part time job of some sort and be a little more productive with his life, but he'd rather wait for when he knew that earning money for a living would end up being a necessity instead of a measly option. He'd much rather live the life he currently leads. Roaming the district and messing around with whoever chooses to affiliate themselves with him. Keegan was living a privileged life and he knew it. Which is exactly why he left the jobs for people who actually need it to feed their families if there were any he knew of in district three.

Can I just say that this fancy form for character bios is the most efficient thing I've ever used? I've never been to an RP forum that made everything so convenient for me. Lol. And I apologize for this is not the best bio ever, but I'm really rusty on my writing and roleplay skills.
