POWERPLAYING.These two actions are some of the worst things you can do to another character and/or member in your entire RPing existence. The mere words make writers glower and glare - they are simply things that you really shouldn't do. It's rude, it's unfair and it makes the overall RPing experience rather lackluster, boring and very aggravating. It also turns you into a brain-eating zombie who wanders around in a terrible attempt to eat brains just for the heck of it, because zombies can't die unless if you damage their brain so badly that it can't regenerate. [/tangent].
GODMODDING.
I'm kidding, of course; you won't turn into a zombie (or will you? If so, give your hands to Semper because you won't need them >:3). But powerplaying and godmodding truly are things that you as a RPer and a writer should be avoiding at all times when you're writing/RPing with another person. It makes it a lot less fun for the victim, and you might end up doing irreparable things to their character. And since that character isn't yours, well that poses for some major problems with consequences such as people disliking you and the decrease of potential for characters and the gain of an all-around terrible no-good way of making a plot move forward. So please, don't do it.
But first, in order to not powerplay and godmodd, it's very important to first know what they actually are. So first, we're going to be looking at what powerplaying is, how to prevent it and how to utilize other ways of moving plots forward. Then, we're going to learn about godmodding, what it is, what not to do and how to go about correcting your godmodding habits. So are you ready to becomeun-zombiefiedadept at roleplaying without out these two nasty things? Yes? No? Too bad, we're starting anyways.
this is still a work in progress.
Still, don't do it. Unless if it's consented.
