You aren't expecting the blaring burst of music that suddenly fills your ears. It's a tune you recognize - Panem's anthem. Sure enough, you look up and see the seal high above you, and you know what's coming. You've managed to survive another day, but who hasn't? Which tributes have fallen today, in this deadly game the Capitol forces you to play?

You count quickly in your head, and then once more on your fingers to make sure you've got the number right. One has died today. That leaves eleven left to fight, including yourself. Ten more to kill, if you ever hope to leave this prison and return home again.
