Onyx is a little on the short side compared to other teenagers of the same age. Somewhere between 5'1" to 5'2". She has a slim but fit body and isn't afraid to get down and dirty every so often. Onyx has long, dark brown hair down past her shoulders to her mid-back. Her hair is streaked with blonde and lighter brown and is normally parted in the middle of her head, but sometimes is parted at the side. Her hair is something that can always be found changing. She loves to cut, color and style it differently every so often. Her hair represents her and she loves to change it.

Onyx has the most dazzling pair of eyes you will ever see. They're brown mixed with yellow and gold and green. You could get lost in them for hours. Sometimes they're hazel and sometimes they're gold. Her eyes (and hair) are her favorite physical features. Although Onyx is petite, she is quite fit and strong for someone of her age. She has very strong legs and loves to be physical.

Onyx loves clothes and jewelry and splurges on materials to make them when she has the chance. She loves making her own jewelry and selling them to make a quick buck. She finds such beauty in simply things in nature like feathers and stones and turns them into something stylish and wearable. She makes her own jewelry and clothes and likes to tattoo and pierce herself also. She expresses herself the way she wants too.

Personality:

Onyx has such a mad mesh of personalities, it's hard to describe who she really is. Many traits describe Onyx, such as: energetic, funny, outgoing, caring, friendly, etc., etc. But she does have a darker side where she is serious, negative, and anti-social. Onyx classifies herself as paranoid frequently. She convinces herself that she is mentally ill with all these disorders even though her health is great.

Onyx only shows her happier side among her friends and people she cares for. If you don't personally know her and you take one look at her, you'll assume she's a heartless punk. She does let her attitude and big mouth get the best of her, but she normally doesn't try to mean any harm. She makes enemies just as easily as she makes friends. She is quick to judge so friends for her are scarce. That's why she's so close and protective for the ones she has.

It takes a lot to crack through her tough shell so if you somehow manage to do so, you're something special. Among her close knit of friends is something special. She loves her friends and will only use the word love around them. With her friends, Onyx is extremely affectionate and nosy. A few of Onyx's hobbies are reading, running, writing, singing, and making jewelry and clothes. She is very artsy yet sporty.

History:

Onyx raised herself. She had two parents who were workaholics and never gave her, or each other, the time of day. Onyx was a mistake, and she is always reminded of it. Her parents never wanted kids but she somehow came and ruined their lives. They raised her to the best of their abilities up until the age she was able to take care of herself, which she did.

Onyx taught herself, cleaned for herself, fed herself, and worked for herself. Growing up with no family interaction forced Onyx to close off all her emotions. While she tried to get some time with her mother and father, it just ended in disappointment so she just never bothered anymore.

Onyx grew up to be very anti-social until she reached her teen years. She found a few classmates who she could relate to and confide in and finally gained some friends. She learned through a failed friendship that she couldn't trust everyone and stopped trying to be the most popular teenager at her school.
