Age: 15
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 9
Appearance:
Sonya has spiked, brown hair kept as an unkempt bob, and large, wild-looking green eyes. She is fairly average with regards to height, a little smaller than her peers but has always been renowned for being skinny, though she is well-fed enough you would think her unhealthy at first sight. For clothing, she prefers black as she dislikes drawing attention to herself, usually light to allow her easy graceful movement.Personality:
Sonya is known for being sharp-witted with an acid tounge, always ready with a comeback. This usually scares people off, but she is not intentionally unpleasant. Sonya is usually quiet and reserved unless you seek out a conversation or you do something which irks her, in which case she tends to jump to conclusions. She's capable of being a very loyal friend if you give her a chance.History:
Sonya knew her mother only at an early age; she died in the birth of her sister Leah who is younger than her by four years. She and her father's relationship was one of conviniece more than love, though they cared for eachother, both would have jumped at the chance if they'd found a more potent type of love. Her father grieved when her mother died, but always tried to continue with his hunting work.Codeword: muttations
Once Sonya was capable, her father began to teach her to hunt on the lands. Sonya became a little obsessed with hunting.
Her family have always been capable in the way of food, hardly the wealthiest in the district but managing to eat well enough because of their hunting capabilities.
However, a few years before the present time her elder brother Josh was called out at the reaping. Nobody took his place and he was killed in the skirmish for supplies in the first hour of the games. This changed Sonya's perspective of life a little, she developed more of an instinct for survival and it sharpened her rebellious traits.
