District/Area: District 8
Appearance:
Rilmor is pale skinned 14 year old boy, roughly six feet tall. He doesn't have much when it comes to muscular strength. After all, he doesn't spend much time doing physical labor, nor does he really spend much time outside in general. The life of a tailor is not very strenuous.Personality:
His solid brown eyes match the hair hanging down to his shoulders. Unless he can bring himself to care, his hair usually goes unkempt and tangled, like a ragged mop. His hygiene in general isn't very good either. His finger nails will grow out until he's bothered to cut them, often caked with dirt, and his face is dappled with acne.
Rilmor is like an owl, well, frankly any animal of the night. It's not that he can twist his head all the way around his head, no that would be creepy, it's that he prefers the night. At night everything is so much quieter, calmer, and relaxed. He feels safest at night. It's the time of day were the world seems to be at a pause, the chance to take a break from the district life.History:
Rilmor's actions are ruled by his powerful attachment to ethics and his moral values. He believes that those who do good, should receive good. And those who commit evil, should be punished by such. The idea is similar to karma, he doesn't believe it exists, just that it should. This is obviously not what the capitol has in mind.
He knows something needs to be done about the capitol, but he would never dare to rebel, let alone speak of it. He's rather selfish in a sense, he wants the capitol to be overthrown, but just waits for others to do it for him. Throwing his life away to attempt --and almost certainly fail --at starting an uprising doesn't sound like an ideal way to spend his life. Living in peace is much preferred. He accepts the life he is given, and doesn't question it, for he knows that he is above the capitol, and their games.
Rilmor grew up rather well off financially and socially. His parents treat him kindly, and care for him, but are ultimately unhappy with their lives in district eight, they are afraid of the world, and the capitol, more particularly what the capitol would do to who they care about if they ever tried to change things. So they don't, and they continue to carry on with their miserable district lives, like the rest of Panem, trying to raise Rilmor to the best of their ability.Codeword: odair
The Zytar family owns a small tailor's shop, they sell basic clothing, shoes, gloves, etc. They make a surprisingly decent living off of the business. No, they don't live in a larger home, have nice things, or wear fancy clothes, but they could afford enough food to live off of comfortably, and Rilmor doesn't need to take any tessera.
In school, Rilmor gets decent grades, he could care less about how school goes because in the end it really doesn't matter, he still ends up working in the family business either way. He has no real 'best friends', he gets along with his peers fine, and has a handful of friends, but they really don't do much outside of school. Rilmor's life at home is rather lonely, except for his parents, but they're not always enough.
