Evelyn Twill, D7

Evelyn stands at about 5'6" and weighs about 92 lb. Her jet black, messy bob cut hair falls in front of her ash colored eyes and contrasts immensely to her pale skin. Evelyn is extremely skinny and she has a tiny build; she has tight shoulders and small limbs. Even though she has these features, her appearance looks very healthy. Most of her torso is covered by fat, except for a slight showing of her ribs, she has calluses on the soles of her feet and her palms, and instead of weak bones showing, she has some genuine muscle in her arms and legs.

Evelyn's face is very round, with a pointy chin. Along with her hair, her lips are a dark red that contrast her pale skin. She has a small nose with a little point at the tip, directly below her narrow gray eyes. These eyes are covered by long, dark bangs, which give the illusion of a very small forehead. She looks very homely and plain at first, but once you have a long look at her she seems to have a sort of hidden beauty.

Evelyn is a very quiet young girl. She loves music and other kinds of art and spends her days in the deep woods of District 7. Evelyn has always been detached from any friends or family. She doesn't talk much and doesn't take part in group activities. In other words, she is the classic emo girl.

Evelyn has a very flat and monotonous voice when she speaks. She usually speaks in brief sentences. For example, she might say 'Unnecessary commentary' or 'That's what you think.' She may also quote great historical figures that she learned about in school. Whatever she says, it usually has deeper meaning than what it seems to mean.

Evelyn has a trait where she hardly cares what other people think of her. Instead of a short temper, she really just doesn't care. If someone decides to be negative towards her, that's their problem, not hers. The only thing that really gets on her nerves is when someone insults her family. Even though she doesn't spend much time with her family, she will still defend them.

Evelyn was born blind. As a young girl, she felt things moving beneath her feet. At first she thought there was an underground city underground, but then her mother told her that they were just the movement of things above the ground. Soon she was able to identify some of these movements that she felt. Before long, these vibrations were a guideline for seeing, with the help of a stick.

At the age of eight, her mother and father had a baby boy named Leeum (pronounced as Liam). Being eight years apart, Leeum often pestered Evelyn by destroying her things or interrupting her peace and quiet. At the age of three, when he began to talk, he started to tease her about her blindness. He would throw things at her that she couldn't sense. This would irritate her horribly. Sometimes Evelyn would lose her temper around him. When he started crying, she would get in trouble. This unfairness was a factor in Evelyn's calmed demeanor.

Another element in Evelyn's shy personality was the death of her father when she was eleven. He had died of illness. It was traumatizing for her and Leeum, who was only three. This event helped shape who Evelyn is now; a quiet, calm, under control, young blind girl.
