Isaiah cherii-District 7

Isaiah Cherii is an average height of 5'9 and is stocky. He feels like he just "fits" in within his small group of friends because of how he feels about the way he looks. he feels he could lose weight or not look so grim all of the time. He really hates his smile so this is why he often doesn't show it. Whenever he smiles it feels big and awkward because he acquired crooked teeth from his father.

His dark hair is about 4 inches long and lays upon his head in thick waves. He is tan and has very light blue eyes that often shift to a greener shade of blue. Isaiah's favourite trait about himself is his eyes because of all the people who like them. He didn't care for his eyes much when he was younger but now since everyone else likes them so does he. When he was young his class made a tally of sorts grouping the kid's eye colour. Isaiah was annoyed when the teacher could not decide his and he was placed into "other". This started a phase earlier in his life where he would often judge himself about ever tiny aspect like his weight and his hair untill he started causing himself harm intentionally to get out of work. Doing things like "accidentally" gashing his hand open with the hatchet. This phase has almost completely passed accept for the occasions where he gets very self conscious and just gets mad at himself for being the way he is.

Isaiah has a small mouth but a large smile, that is shown rarely because he often takes things very seriously and when he gets serious he does not smile. His few friends depict him as "angry-looking" and he often wears regular jeans and t-shirts (the only thing he can afford in district 7)He has a rough texture due to working with lumber in the fields of district seven. Cutting wood has also made him very muscular in the arms, abs, and back. His arms and back are scarred from accidents in the forest with his hatchet and from falling trees. His legs an front of his torso are unscathed because of the regulation protection gear that every worker attains in district 7.

Isaiah is known for his humorous personality and strength. Isaiah loves making people laugh or smile. He often tries to find the better side of things, but when it comes to his family, or friend's safety he is completely serious. Isaiah shows loves for a very specific few, including his brother, Drake Cherii, and his father Drew Cherii. Drake shows compassion in ways like working harder than anyone and trying to please them in any way that he can, subtle or not. He does hate the way he always so stubborn and brutally honest. He sometimes hurts the people he loves by saying things that he finds true but he really had no need to say them.

Isaiah does not have any mercy for people harming anyone he loves. Isaiah usually uses reason before violence but he has an issue with controlling his anger, and he will often get to angered to stop from being violent. He loves animals, His favorite being large dogs, because of how loyal they have been in the long work days out in the cutting fields of district 7.

Isaiah cherii is compassionate and caring to people who he feels deserve it, and can be a very nice guy. He always helps when he can whether it is with working in the cutting fields or helping his father with things like cleaning and cooking (things his father is not used to doing). Isaiah also feels that he thinks to much about single topics and he usually comes to a wrong conclusion than previously attended.

Isaiah Is one of the best in cutting squad in the wood cutting business even though he is to humble to pay any attention to the compliments. He is also one of the strongest in his age group at school.

Isaiah is mostly quiet but is always thinking. He tries to use strategy in everything he does just in case he would ever have to attend the games. He is somewhat paranoid because he feels like someone is always keeping tabs on him and his family. Sometimes his paranoia gets the best of him like on one occasion when he struck out at a teacher for disciplining him. He threatened the teacher but was removed by peace keepers before any major harm was done. His anger issues added on top of him being paranoid is an issue to him because he always tries to behave and stay calm. But sometimes if things seem completely one sided against him he will lash out and regret it later. He is very self conscious about this because he only wants to be liked but sometimes he cannot help himself.

Isaiah has a history of attending school everyday but paying most attention to the small lessons about the capitol, because the way they live astounds him. He does not understand how so many luxurious things can be in one place at any time. Isaiah's best friend's name is Eric Hart, who happens to be his crush's brother. He has a crush with a girl from his age group at school named Cell Hart. Cell is 16 years old with a gorgeous smile and bright blue eyes that Isaiah fell for right away. He feels that she seriously does not know he even exists though.

To Isaiah the games seem like a terrible way to achieve fame. Isaiah's Uncle, Mark Cherii, was a tribute in the 21st hunger games when he was 17,and he came out of it as a victor for district 7. Even though its been 36 years and his uncle is nearly 51 years old, he still rants on and on about his experience in the games. Isaiah once watched his uncles games recap and saw how brutal his uncle was towards people in district 1. In both cases Mark used brutal causes of death like lighting a fire under them or bashing their head in with a rock instead of simply using the hatchet he had with him. His uncle says its because thats as close as he can get to killing people from the capitol.

Isaiah will reach his wood chopping quota quickly so he may play with his dog, karsh for a while. Isaiah is called Izzy by his close friend Eric and his father. Izzy and his friends were whipped once for practice fighting when they were young. They wanted to see what it was like for the tributes in the games to be injured and Isaiah accidentally gashed Eric's left forearm deep. After the whipping, Isaiah and Eric didn't talk all through that year until Isaiah apologized for the event. Eric was lonely without Isaiah so he accepted hastily. At this time they were only 12 year old boys.

Isaiah's mother is a touchy subject around his home because she died while giving birth to him. Isaiah's father, Drew, never showed any anger towards Isaiah because he knew there was no stopping what had happened. Isaiah's mother's name was Elizabeth Steele whom walked with a light foot and had the same eyes as Isaiah. Isaiah has heard stories about his mother and how amazing she was with children, and how she decided that she wanted her own when she saw a young boy running around a field in the district with a wide smile across his face laughing and playing. She asked the boy his name and he said Isaiah. The boy then smiled and shook her hand playfully before giggling and running off. Isaiah's mother then decided she wanted a child and also wanted to name his isaiah if he was a boy. Turns out he was.
