Mindy Miles:
What more could you do an a free day then nothing. It was what Mindy appeared to do with every free second she was given, at the first mention of 'free time' she had already planned out her way to the closest most relaxing spot. Today that was the slightly enclosed area of wall behind the school she attended. The wall itself was little more then a concrete barrier one foot wide by two feet tall, not so much used to keep anything in or out but as an indicator of where the school grounds ended. It was often the location the more daring or the younger students would wander to to test the limits of those keeping track of them. That one foot was both on and off school property, a discretion every student had taken advantage of. A hand or a foot or a body just on the other side was the greatest rebellion for many of the young minds.
Mindy didn't often join in the pushing of this particular boundary but she did take notice of how that one length of concrete seemed to lose all of it's power with the ringing of the final bell. It was the kind of symbolic aura that drew Mindy to it, though she was not yet eloquent enough to properly express why. Instead she just accepted that she liked the way it felt to lay on that one foot wide section and stare up at the clouds drinking in the final warmth of the day from both the low hanging sun and the heated stone.
Her arm rested off to the side, hanging down from her solid bed. She traced over the cracks in the concrete with her fingers as her eyes traced the paths of the clouds. The look in her eyes suggested she was far from District ten, her smile suggesting somewhere far from Panem in general. She was so far away she wasn't taking notice of the deepening of the blue in the sky, or the shadow falling over her.
OOC: little bit more ominous then I intended but there ya go
