Jack Chamberlin…and from the Capitol! Oh how interesting this will be. Ana placed the file she was in charge with on the desk that was conveniently right beside her. This was her work, what she lived for. The brutal woman her family had wished her to be was finally in her surroundings, ready to work on what she did best. She closed her eyes and took in deep breaths. This is work. This is work. Because despite popular opinion, Ana was not truly cruel, not unless she had to be. It always took her a few moments to let her aggressive nature out, to let her eyes grow cold as she stared deep into the eyes of the unfortunate soul who was stuck under her case. Interrogation methods were quite the interesting ideas, some which she thought were ingenious. But the ones that worked were the ones that Ana took much time and thought into planning. Most of the time, they would work. And if not…oops.[/size]
With a crack of a knuckle, Ana stood up from where she was sitting and moved to the interrogation room. The moment she entered was the moment a smirk came to her face. The detainee was already there, blindfolded on Ana’s request. She always did enjoy taking off the blindfold herself during an interrogation. After all, what else was there really to see? She examined his condition, taking note that the other Peacekeepers had done a very good job with him. Those wounds would take quite a long time to heal. But now it was her turn, her turn to drive the information out of the man. But first, she was going to take it easy. Just a few general questions here and there...and then she would be allowed to act however she wished. Most of the time the methods she chose were not pleasant, but there was no point in refining them; once she had the information she needed, that was all that mattered.
“Well well well. Who do we have here?” Careful hands reached up to the blindfold, and with a sudden jerk, yanked it off. “I just need a brief introduction. Who you are. Why you are here. You know, the works.” Ana’s smirk grew as she stared at the young man with unforgiving eyes. Oh yes, her colleagues had done quite a good job with this man. Bruises could be seen all over his body; clear, defined strikes marked his face, arms, legs. Some were going through the healing process; others were just going to take time. And some….well, some were going to be used by Ana. All it took was one strike, and the pain would spread like a wildfire—only if she knew which ones would be the most effective.
Ana widened her eyes, pretending she had made such a huge mistake. In her mind, though, it was all just a part of her plan, her plan to toy with the young man. There must have been a good reason why he was sitting in that chair; not only was she going to find out why, she was going to know the specifics, down to the color of the fly that was in the room at the time of his arrest. “Did I forget to introduce myself? Now now, we can’t have that at all, can we?” With a quick movement, Ana moved to stand behind the chair, her hands resting on the edge of it, her mouth close to the man’s ear. Her smirk was long gone, her face completely unforgiving. “I’m Laroche, Ana Laroche. And all you need to know is that I will not end this interrogation until you give me all the little details. When I say all of the details, I mean all of them. Don’t even think about leaving out the color of the wall of the room in which my colleagues came to arrest you. Do I make myself clear?”
A small smirk made reappearance as Ana made a few strides to the wall to the right of the window. The interrogation window. Oh how Ana loved that thing. She remembered the first time she was on the other side of the window, being one of the observers. Watching the interrogation already gave her an enthralling feeling, one that made her eyes glisten. Well, now she was the one doing the interrogation and who knows who was watching her at the moment. And she was not going to disappoint. She turned her attention back to the pitiful man on the seat, her eyes piercing into his. “Ready to begin?”[/blockquote]
