District Six
"Angel"
Wild Girl
Bi-Sexual
Appearance:
Height has always been a problem for you, but not in the same way that most people struggle with height. To put it simply, you are just too tall, five foot eleven is taller than most people of the other gender (though it does not make a difference when you are going for other girls.) The fact that you are unable to wear heels is a hard one to handle, the limit it has on your wardrobe is extreme. Kim Franco, the victor of the 41st Hunger Games and (to her) less importantly your mother, tells you that guys will tolerate your height because they like you on the inside, but this is just her falsely trying to get your hopes up. In reality, she knows nothing about you, not even the fact that you are bisexual. Chances are if she knew it would cause quite a stir, especially since you are a bastard child. You feel like a freak of nature being so tall, from finding clothes that fit you to only being able to wear flats it just makes your living so much harder.
Saying you are lucky when it comes to metabolism is an understatement; your quick metabolism is a gift yet also a curse. Though you cannot eat as much as a teenage boy and stay skinny, you generally can still eat what you want and not suffer the consequences. The fact that your mother is a victor is a great thing for this, as you never have to worry about being hungry, but if you had one wish it would be filling out a little bit. The Capitol standards of what is skinny are not what you to be classified in, you want to be healthy, and weighing in at just a mere 130 pounds is not healthy considering your height. What you want to add on is really not that much more, but you feel think the extra five or ten pounds will make you look healthy like the daughter of a victor and not like a starved girl from District Twelve.
Mother would kill you if you ever told the world about her physically enhancing surgeries, but you would not be ashamed to have work done on your body. People have to be wondering why the victors daughter does not have the curves that her mom has, so surgery would be a great way to get people off her tail. Looking like some of the freaky people in the Capitol is not on your agenda, but a little padding in some areas would be welcomed with open arms by you. Even if you desire being shorter, you are totally content with your beautiful long legs, but you wish that other parts of you were as perfect. It would take away from the angel the Capitol sees you as, but the changes would help more than they hurt in the long run.
If it is not your favorite part of your body, it has to be up in the top two or three. Though it is an exceptionally dark blonde at the top, the coloring gets lighter and lighter as it goes down. To have hair like yours you have to take great care of it, and that you do, washing it with the best products you can get in District Six. Whenever a prep team comes to take care of your mother before any of her public appearances, they almost always compliment you on your hair. It compliments your blue, almond shaped eyes.
Unless you win the games (which you have no intentions of even participating in), there is no way that you will get your front-teeth filed down from their huge size till they look perfect. The only decent thing that comes from your extra-large teeth is that they draw attention away from your slightly large nose, but that does not cancel out the negative. Instead of looking at you eyes or your hair, you often find people staring at your mouth, but it is not because they want to make out with you, it is with a look of disgust because of your teeth. It is frustrating that people have to notice your flaws instead of what is beautiful about you.
Unlike District Four, District Six does not have beaches, so the rich have a much harder time getting tan. After your mother gets back from the Capitol for the games she always is tan, it has to be fake. Unlike your mother, you want to gain beauty in mostly natural ways, but your skin does not seem to cooperate. Even if you spend hours and hours a day outside your skin stays as basically the same white as it was before you tried to get tan.
Clothes are plentiful in your life, but you feel like there aren't enough. Most of what you wear comes from the Capitol, gifts from people who think you are just the perfect daughter of a victor. Most of the non-designor things that you own are just shorts and tank tops, but those do not really show off your body for when you go out with your friends. All that you want is to have clothes that someone your age would actually wear, but your mother does not know this because it would completely change her idea of who you are. So instead of pushing the issue on some of the more provocative things that you want to wear, you just stay quiet and keep you angel facade going.
Personality
Helping others out is probably the thing that you hate to do the most, just because you have more money than they do does not mean you should help them. If they want to have money like your family does, then they should go out and win the Games. It is simple, that is the only way to get ahead in Panem life, so they should start training to win the games if they want money. Of course, you pretend to be happy when helping people out, since it makes you oh so adorable to the people in the Capitol. In fact, your actions are probably the only reason why they find you so cute and give you clothes as gifts. This helps your mind rationalize helping others, because in the long run it is good for you. And being honest, the only time you help others is if it helps you out.
Why you are attracted to both men and women is a mystery to you, it is a burden. Being bisexual is a secret that you will not be able to tell anyone in fear that it will ruin your image among people in the Capitol. The secret sometimes makes it hard for you to live your life, you feel like it is just lying to everyone you know. The hard part is that you cannot tell anyone, not their reaction. Even your mom will never know because she cares more about her status as a victor than you. If she did find out you are sure she would disown you. It is pathetic how the Capitol has taken over her life to the point that she cares more about people she does not even know than you, but it is what you have to deal with.
The hard part that you have with the image people have about you is that it prevents you having fun. The Capitol's image of you makes it nearly impossible for you to go out and party, for the constant fear that people will find out who you actually are. You feel like people consider you something that should not have happened, the daughter of a victor who does not know her father who still is a perfect little girl. It is like you are a success story that they want to mirror, though they really know absolutely nothing about who you actually are. Literally, you are living two lives, but the one that you want to live is the one that you barely get to live. It is beyond frustrating that nobody can appreciate you for who you actually are.
Secrets dominate your life, especially the fact that you do drugs. At first drugs were just an escape for you, but then they became something that you need. Even if you could stop, you probably would not, because you truly like the feeling that comes when you are on drugs, but you really do need help. Part of the reason you seem full of joy all of the time is because you are on drugs, it is rather pathetic that people do not notice. Even when you are rude to your mother, she just assumes that is you on your natural cycle, she does not care enough about you to realize that you are spending a ton of money on drugs. She never even hired anyone to take care of you, to tell you that drugs were bad. Instead, she let you figure out life on your own while you did not have a dad, meanwhile she was probably having memories of her time in the Arena, caring more for herself than she does about you.
History:
People always ask you if it was hard growing up without a father, and it makes you want to hit them. Obviously it was hard growing up with only one parent, especially when that parent was a victor who had nightmares about her games and was basically a useless parent. Of course, you always tell them calmly that it was and look sorry for yourself, but it is extremely irritating that people cannot just come to conclusions by themselves. But it is amazing that you have managed to keep up your happy-go-lucky attitude this whole time, since you always have people getting on your nerves.
One thing that you are sure your mom is right about is that your father was a good looking man, if he was not how would you be so good looking. She always tells you that he was a great man, and though you disagree with that, you are thankful that he was good looking. Apparently, he had known your mother before she won the Hunger Games, and when she got back from winning they had immediately started to date. The story seems like it has to be false to you, since people who dated for so long would not give up on a relationship when the girl got pregnant, unless the truth was your dad just did not want kids at all and was a large enough jerk to leave before you were born. If that was the case, then you are happy that you never got to meet your father because he probably is a huge jerk.
Friends have always been there for you, though you barely tell them anything. The reason behind this has to be you being the daughter of a victor. Your friends always wonder why your mother never lets them come over after school and so do you, though you would think that it has to do with her drinking issues. Of course, you always have been popular, boys have wanted you ever since they wanted girls (probably only due to your money,) and so has the occasional girl. In general, you avoid any long term relationships because you think that they never actually work out. Whenever you go out to parties you do get drunk and have your hook ups, but you never remembered being in a relationship,
Even for someone in District Six, you are considered smart. Not as smart as the people of District Three, that is for sure, but you are fairly intelligent. The good grades that you have just further make your good image believable in the Capitol. Even when you started doing drugs at fifteen, you were somehow able to keep your grades at a high enough mark that nobody really noticed. If you got just slightly more attention from the people who were supposed to care about you, then you probably would have never started with drugs, but now you enjoy your every day life with the effects of drugs. The only way that you can find enjoyment in life now is through them, and you see no good reason why you should stop.
