[/justify]Oh the Capitol and their odd names. Bruin Mandala Olee's had her quirky title since sixteen years ago, at her day of birth that she shares with the Hallow's Eve. But it might be easier you were to call her Brue. She's a female, but there's not doubting that. But she won't be so willing to let you check, if you're at all suspicious. Bruin's afraid of trusting, but that doesn't mean those boytoys don't put a spark in her heart, because she's straight all right.
lookin.
Brue has wavey strawberry blonde hair. No one can remember a time when it was short, and Bruin herself plans on keeping it that way. It's been highlighted before, and she's thinking of perhaps doing that again. Bruin's hazel eyes are thin but their soft green color, comebined with a maple brown is somewhat piercing, and makes her eyes look somewhat bigger than they are in actuality. She has a tight jaw with a blunt pout, making her chin look somewhat protruding. She isn't a fan of too many capital manipulations, but on the occasion, Bruin wears a sheet of makeup and bejewels the area beside her eyes.
Throughout her body, she is very long-limbed, giving the twisted illusion of a tall, lanky female. Truth be told, she happens to be the height of most of her peers, standing at about 5'5. She doesn't have the greatest cleavage, but she's considered an operation for that. She's very grateful for her fantastic metabolism. One thing she's not so satisfied with about herself is her skin. It's pale and breaks out easily. Actually, the breaking out isn't a topic of concern. What is rather bothersome, to Bruin at least, is her thick sheet of freckles that dabble all around her skin. Freckles are a mark that's rather disapproved of in the Capitol. Bruin doesn't prefer her freckles, to be honest, but she knows that without them, she'd just be another flawless face in the Capitol crowd.
feelin.
Bruin tends to be a really rather friendly character. She truly isn't hesitant to talk to people and branch out and try new things. Bruin is very outgoing. One thing the Capitol girl does remarkably well is take chances, and she isn't embarrassed when she fails. She is above the stage where everything in her teenage life is 'the end of the world' or heck, even worse. She has the knack for adjusting quickly to change, and truthfully, she doesn't like repetition in her life. For this reason, she tends to be rather disorganized and spontaneous.
Bruin is a good friend, and it's visible to most people. Despite her quirky yet mature outlook on life, with her 'no biggie, just live it up' attitude, she's truly reliable. Though she loves the crazy, random aspect of love, she doesn't cause much trouble for others and is something of a straight edge. Bruin is a really good listener, and she likes giving people advice. Despite what might be an aura of bad judgement, Bruin posseses an honest, helpful opinion. She'll take your deepest secrets to the grave. And in all honesty, Bruin finds it hard to dislike people. She's drawn to shyer, colder characters, and no matter how bitter they are, she will take the hint of when to stop talking, but will never reguard them as anything negative.
But one thing Bruin struggles to let go of is her undying paranoia of losing her cool. It is truly impossible to be totally unflappable, and though Bruin's aura of calm and a tongue of swift, smoothe remarks that conjure the-right-thing-to-say phrases there's a living girl within. Nobody's as perfect as the girl's flawless little smiles will ever suggest. Bruin has a reality inside her perfect grinning face, even when it's not showing. No one can be without weaknesses, and Bruin is without exception. Sometimes she'll erupt at home, into sobs because she feels like she's not good enough. She feels as though, if someone doesn't like her, than she is not a good enough person and she will do anything to change that.
One other thing that Bruin falters quite often with is her sense of trust and comfort with other people. She is, in all honesty, a people's person, but she in any other sense, doesn't let anyone be her people. What I mean exactly is that she struggles with letting anyone assist her or give her help, or even listen to her. While most love to be showered with questions and compliments and praise, Bruin could live off of one 'Good Job' a year. She doesn't like personal questions, and will avoid them. This is why she manages to gain so many half-friends and acquaintances without truly buddying up with people. In romance, unless she's known the person to be sweet and worthy, she rarely gives away an 'I Love You,' and is constantly afraid that they're lying. In this way, Bruin is something of a nervous wreck.
rememberin.
Bruin was born to Teegan Fareheld in a quiet hospital on the thin outskirts of the Capitol. She realized she was pregnant shortly after ending her affair with Dudley Olee, who was honestly too rude and far too plump for her taste. She kept in touch with the man, as they weren't distant or bitter towards each other. She didn't want the child, and brought up the bitter topic a few weeks before actually giving birth. Dudley offered to take her in, a wealthy worker for the Capitol's government who had money and rooms in his home to spare. He was already a father to a two year old son, whose mother, and Dudley's wife, had passed away a few years before. Dudley was a selfish man, and after receiving not one child but two, became selfish for his offspring, and would give them only the best.
Bruin lived a relatively normal life, and didn't inquire much about her mother. She tended not to be a curious soul, and she was relatively obedient as well. This is something most parents couldn't say about their children, and her father was rather proud of her. Often Bruin felt as though her older brother always seemed to come first in his eyes, but truth be told, as she grew, she wasn't bothered. Though her father never spoke about her mother, she understood that something had happened and that she wasn't supposed to be here. Besides, it was never worth complaining about. Dudley Olee was a good enough father.
When Bruin entered middle school , she suddenly felt the unwavering presssure of the Capitol. One of her first friends began to dye her hair, and she became closer with other girls. Bruin stopped talking to said girl, and began to become somewhat quiet. She was one of the most undistinguished girls in her class. While girls tattooed her skin and marred it with the colors of the rainbow, Bruin preferred the soft white jewels inlaid outside her eyes. Her hair was never any remarkable color, and nor was her skin. She receded into the background.
