I’m open for plot and relation ideas. If you would like to RP with this character, PM me once it’s been approved. If you would like to create a relationship between this character and one of yours, I’m happy to think about anything (I can always edit her) but please try and stick to the spaces which are marked ’OPEN’.
I’m using this character as practice until I create a District kid, and I will use her for lazy RPing. It was also a practice in designing a character. If you’ve got any suggestions on how I can do better to explain her, please PM me and I’ll see what I can do. I’m trying to get better so some tips are always welcomed.
She’s finished! I removed the picture because it just ruins the effect.
Age: 22
Gender: Female
District/Area: The Capitol
Appearance:
Personality:
Height: 5ft 10”
Weight: 136lbs
BMI: 19.5 (normal [lower end])
Constellatia’s natural appearance involves near-straight, mahogany brown hair that reaches to her lower back and ends in a single horizontal cut. Her irises are a light, delicate blue that could be easily mistaken as white against her creamy skin. However, her hair is too dull, her eyes too pale and her skin too flawed for her liking.
To overcome these obscene imperfections she has everything dyed regularly. Her hair is rebuilt into elaborate shapes and patterns, from plaits, to curls, to triangles, and the colour changed each week. Her favourite option is purple, particularly a plum hue, with bright lilac highlights to show off the intense crafting that has gone into the unique look. She is willing to try anything where her hair is concerned, and it is her stylist’s pleasure to do so.
Everything about her face is curved: the high, arching eyebrows, the crescent nose, the gently rounded chin. Her features subtly blend together but still somehow show through. Prominent cheek bones exist underneath inconsistent eyes, and her lips are full and pulled into a tight, mad smile to show gleaming pearl teeth. A short forehead and small ears complete the illusion of nobility.
Her eyes are dyed for occasions only; the Hunger Games, her birthday and parties with one-hundred-plus guests are the usual events. For the Games, she waits until the bloodbath has passed and checks up on her bet before booking the procedure and selecting theme colours of the arena. Her clothing tends to match her special iris colour at these times as well, so icy eyes mean cool clothing in order to keep the theme. Her makeup must also match when her eyes are altered, but usually she focuses on matching her eccentric, brightly coloured clothes.
She visits the dying specialists fortnightly to recolour every inch of her skin to her preferred lightest pink, giving her a soft glow as the sunlight hits her. It isn’t too far off from her natural colour, but it makes all the difference to cover the freckles and uneven skin tones. Her skin is pulled tort over sweeping shoulders, pear shaped hips and long, graceful limbs. Her wrists and ankles appear to be fragile, when in fact they are strong and flexible. In contrast, her rounded calves give the impression of being solid rock, but in reality are soft to the touch. She is slender; not skinny, but her skin fits snugly over her curved structure that won’t be surgically altered no matter what the temptations are.
Constella couldn’t call herself a Capitolite if she didn’t have a permanent mark of her dedication to appearances. Nothing too drastic is required to fill this requirement, so she settled with the implantation of four precious stones into her skin; two under each eye, the inner ones amethyst, the outer two polished amber. Purple and gold are common throughout her wardrobe, makeup sets and accessories in order to display the connection between her fashion choices and herself.
History:
Constellatia knows that she’s not the prettiest, smartest, chattiest or richest girl in the Capitol, but she suspects that she’s somewhere in the top fifth. She sees herself as a revolutionary, a new way of thinking about style. She adores seeing others in the streets and shops that are ‘coloured in’ as she calls it, meaning dyed like herself, and she finds a lot of the implants and alterations to be charming; though she believes in a limit, and that it should be done carefully, selectly , not rushed into when the craze comes along. It took her years to plan her look and thinks that others should do the same.
Her friends easily lose track of time by spending an afternoon in their favourite coffeehouse chit-chatting, as they often do after a morning of retail therapy. They are supportive of her career, but often lose interest after the initial description of her creations. They aren’t bothered about inspiration, presentation, business; they are enthralled by a limited designer item with a fancy price tag, nothing more. Constellatia has a passion for shopping and appearances, but prefers to mull her ideas over and wait patiently while everyone else has money burning a hole in their pockets.
She takes her world for granted, as she has always had what she wanted, and is oblivious to how hard the people in the surrounding Districts have it. She gossips about trivial topics, such as who said or did what, and believes that the Hunger Games are the best thing to come out of the horrific Dark Days, giving everyone in the country a chance to meet and compete, never considering the traumatic impact it has on those outside the Capitol’s walls.
Stella has a sweet tooth, there is no denying it. Her favourite drink is a mint coffee that is exclusive to the cafe she relaxes in, and her favourite food is a Sugar Twist, a type of delicate pastry. Anything bland or stale will not do! She says that if she’s going to put on the calories she had better enjoy it. Her fat free figure isn’t down to surgery. It would be if she wasn’t so terrified of going under the knife – she almost backed out of having her jewels implanted – so instead she works it off in the gym with three hours every two days, skipping Saturdays. She hates the gym! The disgusting smells, the ugly exercises, everything being drenched in sweat repulses her, but it’s still a step up from countless needles, knives and tubes.
She is slightly snobbish towards others and makes quick judgements from looks alone along with rude remarks, although most of the time she means it as a compliment. She detests the ‘natural’ look that is sweeping through the younger population of the Capitol, often announcing her opinion to her friends; “Natural! Who do they think they are, districters? They’re Capitol born, so they should act like it!” She has tried it; her hair was dull, her eyes appeared to be glazed and her skin was patchy. Nothing shone about her, which simply couldn’t be allowed. She says that if true beauty comes from within your imagination should be allowed to show through in the styles you display! Even by simply colouring your hair a hue like pink or green is an improvement in her eyes. The candy-coloured streets should have candy-coloured people.
She rarely has a personal issue with another, though she cannot stand the woman above her at work, Felicity Reah. The 'witch', as Stella nicknames her, is illogically cruel and is a nightmare to work for, demanding huge quantities of designs within a tiny set time. The main problem is that Felicity has complete control over her career, because if Constellatia ever wants to move onto bigger and better things she needs an impressive reference from her.
She has many more opinions to voice, such as how spring showers ruin her hair, or why bladeless Hunger Games are such a disappointment. She rarely realises the insult and injury she causes others when expressing her feelings in public; if she did know she would care deeply. But she is ignorant of her flaws and so the situation isn’t going to change any time soon.
When she isn’t gossiping about other people, she can be extremely caring and humorous. She is honest with the people who are closest to her and her tireless enthusiasm encourages them to be the same way. She feels at home with a paintbrush in her right hand and a canvas propped up in front of her. Work is everything to her because it lets her resourceful and creative side shine. At the end of the day, nothing is more rewarding to her than seeing a shop window mannequin sporting her latest design.

Constellatia’s family has always been wealthy thanks to the long line of entrepreneurs on her mother’s side, but it helps that her father, Comet, is a successful lawyer. Her father has always been absent from her life due to the nature of his job, so she was raised entirely by her mother Tallica, a very traditional Capitol lady, along with a nanny and a housemaid, whose names she can never remember. Her brother Aster was present until he was ten, then he was packed up and sent off to a boarding school where he was educated to follow the same path as their father. She never sees him these days, either.
Tallica dressed her up like a princess all her childhood, only releasing her grip on her daughter’s fashion when she entered high school to let her taste freedom. Such a change was welcomed, and Stella never returned to the nobility-like way of living. Over the years she had created her own ideal style in her head, a combination of traditional Capitol trends and brighter, abstract ones from the modern day, a basis that she still uses today for her inspiration.
She had no problems with her grades but certainly wasn’t the top in the intelligence-based lessons; she managed to do better in the subjects that required skill rather than knowledge. Although she was never a queen bee in the social side of school, she made a name for herself by making and selling jewellery to the girls. Her art teacher realised her potential and encouraged her to follow a career into the fashion industry. Stella went on to study art, fabrics and fashion at a higher level, earning a degree in Applied Design which landed her a job in the concept department of Eccentral, a popular designer store in the centre of the Capitol. Within her first year there she got a promotion from assistant to artist, and now she has someone working for her.
As a young adult she is searching for that special someone who shares a career mind while living in her own apartment on the corner of a block, providing her with plenty of room for her canvases. A state of the art kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom and walk in wardrobe is all she needs to relax. She continues to paint on her days off and sometimes holds small parties for her friends in the lovely little starter home.
The Hunger Games are the biggest part of her life now. After the Reaping she selects four possibly tributes to back, then makes her final choice of one of the teenagers to bet on, and even sponsor if they prove themselves enough. Every year she joins the crowds to watch the twenty-four tributes pass by in their chariots with eager delight, and again at the interview with Caesar Flickerman. The combined costs equate to a month’s work, but it is worth every penny to her, because her dream is not to be the unnamed artist; it is to be a Hunger Games stylist.
