[/justify][/blockquote]Name: Janice 'Jana' Garnet
Age: Seventeen
Gender: Female
Area: Capitol
Appearance:Starting at the top; Janice has red hair. In the light, it can appear a dark shade of blond, or simply called dirty-blond. It's curly and bouncy - along with being entirely messy and annoying in the morning. In the heat, it can get very frizzy. Not yet touched by capitolite appliances, her hair is completely natural; she likes it that way. The only way she does make it a bit artificial is straightening it. Her hair reaches her shoulders, and curves around the sides of her head. Her forehead is an average size, four fingers from her hairline to her eyebrows. Now, onto her eyebrows. Janice's 'brows' are thin, plucked to perfection, and arched in a precise manner. A color darker than her hair - perhaps a brown, but they aren't dyed, just waxed regularly. Her eyes are an almond-brown that twinkles in the light and makes her look a bit too innocent.
High and prominent, they stick out even more when she smiles. Her cheekbones are easy to see, (just like her collarbone,) and seem to move when she talks. Janice's lips are thin and long, structured over ugly-yellow teeth that are long taken care of - and of course, only her sister can get capitol appliances used on her yet (at least Janice isn't her parent's advertising board). Although her teeth are a light-yellow, it doesn't matter; when does Janice smile? Humor comes never for her and what is there in life to be happy about?
Her arms and legs are long, thin, and bony; not showing any recognition of muscle. She's tall, and light-weighted. The hands and feet on her body are big and man-like, often being called things like 'big-foot' or 'man-hands', not that the taunts really bother her. Her attire is much fancy like most of the capitolites; nice skirt, blouse, but no heals.
Personality:Janice has a short-temper when it comes to almost anything. Most of the time, her temper starts up when her sister is harassed by people of being a slut. Janice doesn't know the truth of this stuff, but she doubts this stuff (why would Spetima give the ugly principle a blowjob?). Exactly, she wouldn't. Janice can also be short-tempered over things like people hurting Janice or making fun of her, she isn't afraid to throw a punch at anyone.
Most of the time, though, Janice is care-free - you can tell from her grades. Although her sister is a straight 'A' student, Janice barely makes it past each grade. Usually, Janice doesn't care though. She's too caught up in her party life, and honestly, do grades even matter in the captiol? All you need is a well-known family and you basically get a good job.
Janice is straight. Does she care if people are gay or bisexual? No. She isn't really a slut, but she does tend to only date for so long until she gets bored of the boy. Plus, she finds love to be very silly at her age, most people just want sex.
Sports were never her forte, as she's very clumsy; often spilling drinks or dripping over nothing. Anyone would be able to see the scars and bruises and such on her shins, but she covers them up with make-up, and does a good job at that. Sometimes Janice will try perfecting walking in heals, but it's too much for her to handle.
She has a boyfriend, but the only reason she's dating him is well, they were always good friends, he expressed his feelings for her, and she feel for him. It was like some cliche love movie.
She lives to please others, since she can't please her parents. If you want her to be funny, she'll have the best jokes. If you need a friend who can do make-up perfectly, she's your new stylist. She's a piece of clay just waiting to be molded. But then when her party-life started, Gaius entered her life.
Who isn't nowadays?
History:Marie and Jerad Garnet were expecting their baby unlike most capitolite parents. Knowing it was going to be a girl, they named her Janice, Janice Opal Garnet. As a baby, she was always fussy, picky about what she ate, and always cried all day. Her parents could tell that they were going to have a hard time with her. Janice also progressed slowly, learning to walk at thirteen months, talking in fourteen months. Smart? No. The only reason they kept her is because she was theirs. Their first baby.
When Janice was only two, her younger sister entered the world, and although she doesn't remember it (her parents always tell her this), she always played with her. The Garnet parents always told stories of how Janice would help Septima build buildings with building blocks. One time, when Janice was eight and Septima was six (this, they both remember), a boy in school was picking on Septima, so Janice went up to the boy and said, "If you pick on my sista' one more time I'm gonna tell the teacher!" As much as it was childish, it as very cute, and at least the boy stopped.
When Janice was ten, she met a boy, *October. They were best friends in a snap, they did everything together. When they were both around fourteen, October had told Janice that he had a crush on her, and Janice decided to have some fun, so she admitted she had a knack for him, too. Though she was lying, he would never know. And actually, they're still strong about four years later.
Septima has always been smarter than Janice, and so, Janice's parents used Septima as an advertising board. Although Janice knew Septima was suffering; having to change her appearance almost everyday, and having kids in school calling her a slut; Janice was sort of jealous. From the day Septima was born, she had stole all the attention from her. Janice wished that just for one time in her life, she wouldn't look bad compared to her sister who skipped a grade, but she knows that's not going to happen.
A year or two ago, a friend of hers, July, invited her to a party at July's friend, Marco's, house. Apparently, this was going to be a normal routine. Noticing this, one day, Septima decided to sneak into the back of Janice's car, and come to a party with her. Janice knew and saw her, but she didn't say anything. She wanted her sister to learn she was too young to hang out with her friends.
Janice was wrong, Septima was a crowd favorite. And once again, Janice looks bad to her sister.
