Bay Lope [District 7]

Bay has a peculiar look for her home of District 7, with blue eyes that are almost clear in appearance and auburn hair that frames her petite face when she lets it fall down, but most of the time she ties her hair up in a bun to keep out of the way. Her lips are not thick, but not quite thin and are usually turned in a smile.
Her skin is pale, mostly from time spent inside while drawing and sketching. Bay is at a somewhat average weight of 110 for her 5'6" frame, considering the lack of food in her family. She lacks muscle, but makes up for it with her mind. Her hands are callused and usually covered in some type of artistic medium such as chalk, paint, ink, etc.

Bay is artistic and not very physical in her nature. From a family of architects, Bay has been sketching and drawing and building from a young age and it continues to be a strong passion of her's.
When Bay is around others on her outings to get supplies for her family, she normally keeps to herself and talks to as few people as she can. Not that she isn't liked, she just has a shy side that she tends to find a major flaw in herself. However, when she does come out of her shell, she loves to talk and have fun with those close to her.
Bay has an extreme opposition to the Hunger Games, more than most, after watching a close friend kill her cousin in the 53rd Annual Hunger Games, and her dark side comes out shortly before the Reaping and lasts until the Games end. During the time, she locks herself in her bedroom and ignores anyone who tries to talk to her. She becomes an introvert and wants nothing to do with the Capitol or anyone who even watches the Games.

Bay Ameeana Lope is the oldest child of Jape and Kamee Lope, both architects. Her younger brother Nase, 10, and baby sister Lei, 6mo, have been her main responsibility her entire life. Bay has been shopping and cooking for the family since she was 9. In her spare time, she sketches and draws most anything she can think of. Bay's bedroom walls are covered in various paintings of things she's seen and dreamed.
Bay had a pretty uneventful childhood until a few years ago, when Bay sat in front of the screen in her home, watching the 53rd Annual Hunger Games in which her cousin, Marcine Lope was the male tribute from D7 and her best friend, Heepe Jonse was the female tribute. They both made it until there were only 6 tributes left and when night fell, their alliance was broken when Heepe slit Marcine's throat while he slept.
Bay dove even further into her artistic passions after the incident and began moving from simply drawing some of her architectural creations, to actually making mock-ups.
