Kaja Süda [D7] {COMPLETE}

Kaja has long golden blond hair
that brushes her hips, that's
paired with large hazel eyes. She
has slightly tanned skin and a
slender frame. Kaja has no tattoos,
and no remnants of a scar. She can
be considered pretty. Her aunt is
constantly reminding her about
how she looks like her mother. Kaja
takes pride in that.

Kaja dresses... differently than
other District 7 goers. She wears
corsets and tutus, something
you won't normally see other people
in District 7 wear. She has more of
a Capitol sense of style. Every now
and then, she'll take to scribbling a
little design she sees in the Capitol,
like stars on her face or hearts on her
chest, on her body.

Kaja tends to act like a child. She
can be stubborn, dead set on
an answer or opinion even if she
knows it's wrong, and she has
a bit of a hyper streak, where
she can talk for hours on hand.
But this is just when you first
meet her, the first colorful layer
of the proverbial cake.

After you get to know her a bit
more, and when she gets more
comfortable around you, you
will be able to see a smart
young woman who's good at
math and wants to be an
architect like her father.

Then, her namesake comes in.
she was named after the
Estonian word for "Echo", which
was the main character of her
mother's favorite version of her
favorite story, the story of a
mountain nymph named Echo,
who fell was cursed and fell in
love, only to wither away when
her love wasn't return. Like the
Echo in her mother's version, this
Kaja is mischievous and loves
playing pranks.

After that layer, You can see
her bad temper and prideful
streak. It's so strong when
you you come onto her third
layer, that's where people
start to hate her, because it's
so strong.

But, if you can get past that
angry and prideful layer, you
can find the soft cream-filled
center. The center where she
actually trusts and cares for
people, where she can drop
all her masks. And the part
where her slightly evil self that
schemes and makes evil plans
to take over Panem come out
to play. Not that she'll actually
do it... her friends hope. It's
normally meant as a joke between
her and her friends, because
she's always making building
sketches and writing formulas in
this little notebook she carries
around everywhere with her.

Kaja's root starts back before
Panem was formed. Her family,
on her dad's side, comes from
Estonia, and her entire family is
proud of that. Everyone in her
father's family has an Estonian
name. Her mother respected
that, and promised him that
their first child would have an
Estonian name, even though
she wanted to name her first
daughter Echo. So they came
to a compromise. So, they
settled on Kaja.

Kaja comes from a rich family.
Compared to others in her
district, she is very well off, even
if she would be considered
incredibly poor if she went to the
Capitol.

Kaja barely remembers her
mother. She died when Kaja was
only five, so she only has scraps
of memories, and one worn
photograph. Her father refuses to
talk about her, so Kaja knows next
to nothing about her. Only what
her aunt lets slip. All Kaja knows
about her mother's death was that
it was an accident. She guesses
that the wound was to fresh and
painful for her father to talk about.
She heard her aunt mention it
happened when her mother was
leaving her father, to go back to
the Capitol, where she had
originally came from.

So, she grew up without a mother.
She would look at the old photo,
see her mother in that beautiful
Capitol clothing and think "I want
to be like her one day. I want to go
to the Capitol, and I won't be a cast
off." With her mother in mind, she
would wear clothes that her aunt
sends her, not caring that it made
her a little bit more of an outcast,
finishing what being motherless
started.

Between the few friends she has,
they have a little joke going
between them, the joke being that
Kaja is going to take over the world.
The joke started because she has
this little notebook that she's always
carrying around with her, and writing
out formulas and making building
sketches in. They call it "Her Evil Book
of Evil Plans", and it has been labeled
so, using an old pen.
