Apollo Granz, District 8

Apollo has blond hair that is down to his eyes in front, and down to the bottom of his neck in back. His hair is generally very messy and won't stay flat His eyebrows are also blond with medium length. Apollo has very unnaturally bright green eyes. His nose is slim and slightly upturned. His lips are small and naturally pretty red, and there is a slight cleft in his chin. He has no acne or scars on his face, but there are a couple freckles that go well with his look. Apollo has very crooked teeth and they are also slightly yellow.

Apollo is about 5 ft. 9, He is slim, about 120 lbs. and is pretty weak. has long skinny legs and arms that are pretty weak. He is white, on the verge of being pale, but not quite. His hands are scarred from years of experiments he performed on animals and chemicals. He has small feet, but can move quickly on them when he wants to. He makes up for his lack of strength by being very speedy.

Apollo is generally known as one of the richest people in District 8. Also he is known for being one of the cruelest, most arrogant, self-loving, snobby, most untrustworthy people of all time. People generally don't like him because of this. What many people don't see is that he is kind under his scathing comments. Because of his vast wealth Apollo often has leftover money, which he will give to people he sees that are starving or cold. Also he is one of the smartest, most cunning people, but most don't know that until they get on his bad side.

Apollo is a very scientific person; he analyzes every situation he can think of before taking any action to make sure it works out best for him. He is very observant and can spot anything dangerous to him immediately, be it a trap or a threat hidden among kind words. He is very resilient to pain, and in a fight where he doesn't have strength; he makes up for it in speed. He is an expert on figuring out ways to get people to do what he wants. He can almost always provide something for them t little or no cost to himself for their services, so even though many people dislike him it's often a good idea to be on his good side.

Being the scientific person he is, Apollo performs tests on anything that interests him. For example once he captured a squirrel and did horrible experiments, at the cost that it scratched his hand at least a hundred times, which, along with various exposure to chemicals has permanently scarred his hands. Also he often experimented with different objects and chemicals, he can make a bomb out of normal household objects, although only a select few know this. He enjoys watching lesser people in pain and loves watching the Hunger Games. You could argue that he is a better fan than half the Capitol. Often he tells the people watching with him what the contestant should do, and very often he is right.

If there is anything that Apollo can't stand, it's having something make him look bad. He is constantly messing with his hair, trying to get it to lay flat. Also he never smiles because of his teeth. Many people take smiling as a sign of friendship, and Apollo is pretty mush in a permanent grimace. He doesn't realize this makes him look even worse than before, which doesn't help him get friends. The one thing he is proud of are his eyes. Many people find them creepy and abnormal, but Apollo finds them fascinating. In all his life he hasn't been able to find somebody with as brightly colored eyes as he, and he loves being unique.

Apollo was born to his mom May Granz. she was single when he was born. Sometime after getting pregnant her husband disappeared. May is very cunning and smart, though not quite as smart as Apollo. She seduced and pried money out of almost every rich single man in District 8. At this point she is one of the richest people in the District. Apollo being one of the smartest people, works by organizing the factories so they work smoothly efficiently.

Being in public school bullies pick on the weakest kids, Apollo is one of the weakest in the district, seriously like no muscle mass. So naturally he attracted bullies immediately because he was both weak and a total a**. He got picked on once. After that the bullies were found 3 days later in an alley after being severely tortured. Nobody could prove that it was him, although everyone knows it was.

Apollo is a natural scientist, once being interested in squirrels, he captured one and performed numerous cruel tests such as freezing part of it, cutting it open alive, poisoning it and dissecting it once it finally died. Apollo who gets paid a decent amount of money from his work and gets much from his mother, doesn't need to worry about the cost of most things. He buys about a hundred dollars worth of chemicals every week so he can experiment to find healing salves, explosives, poisons, and more. generally he keeps the results to himself. One of his main plans is that if there is ever a rebellion, he can help whichever side that will benefit him more by giving them all of these secrets.

Apollo's favorite thing in the world is watching the Hunger Games. He loves watching the contestants make decisions while he comes up with plans that could keep each one alive. Of course very rarely do they ever do what is best. ( Also known as what he comes up with. ) Every once in awhile, if a contestant is smart he takes a liking to them and sponsors them with his vast amount of money. Although he doesn't spoil them, then all the fun would be taken away. He has often considered volunteering for the games, but every time after much speculation he decides that there are to many risks.
