Austre Mason ~District 1~

Austre has a slender body and a dancer's build. She has a fair complexion. She is tall, standing at 5'8. She isn't muscular. She wears exspensive clothing, she has a huge wardrobe of things she wore only once. She wears either short skirts or dresses or training clothes. She is compulsive about looking good. Since she trains alot she has a good build, and she does enjoy dancing to tone her muscles. but she DOES worry about it, not that she would ever tell anyone that.

Her hair is long and it's a light blonde color. It falls just past her shoulders. It's slightly wavy and she has side swept bangs. Her eyes are an icy blue color, they have a mischevious glint in them. She is always smirking.

Austre is a HUGE troublemaker. She purposely gets herself into sticky situations. She does this to get attention, she always has to be in the spotlight and she hates the pressure her parents put on her to be perfect, though she still believes she is. She is arrogant, too. She thinks of herself as flawless, Austre can do no wrong. She has many friends, though she doesn't really like any of them, except for maybe one or two. She likes said friends because they don't whine about the crap she gives them and seem to really like her.

She is also a big flirt. She is majorly boy crazy. She always has to have a boyfriend. Sometimes she uses said boys to get under her parents skin. That is her favorite part about dating.

Austre is very manipulative, too. She bends certian situations in her favor. She is very skilled at getting inside of people's heads. She drives people crazy that way and her parents are always shouting at it for that because they feel she shouldn't be acting like that. And that's exactly why she does it--to bother them. That's her primary motivation for everything.

She was born into a wealthy family to parents who held a high position in District 1. Her mother, Shine, stayed home with her and her two older brothers, Kellan and Helix. At the time her father had just been promoted to Head Peacekeeper.

As she got older her parents put more emphasis on the need to have good behavior. Austre saw that Helix followed her parents rules down to the letter, but Kellan didn't. She hated Helix's polite attitude, so she began to hang out with Kellan more. The pair got into trouble since she was ten years old.

When she'entered her teen years Austre upped the level of trouble she got into. Her parents constantly yelled at her for doing this or that. Finally, as a punishment they forced her to spend extra time training for the Hunger Games, they believed it would teach her disipline but really, it just made her bloodthirsty. As soon as she got used to spending hours in a weapons room, she realized that she was skilled in hand-to-hand combat and sword fighting. She likes the swords the best due to the fact that she likes the way she has to use them. She hates working on survival skills--she thinks they're pretty much useless. Training is mundane and repetitive to her now, as she's done it for so long.
