Age: 17
Gender: Male
District/Area: District 3
Appearance:
Gabriel has short spiked hair, of a light-ish brown color having semi dark roots. The spikes only come about a half an inch off of his head. He wears a blue T-shirt with the saying "The world can only see the instance that doesn't exist," on it. He wears baggy, light tan cargo shorts that have a chained wallet with the District Three Symbol Embedded on the face of it. His shoes are a black and blue Converse type. They don't really stand out from his casual clothing, but they do not fit in too close to them, either.Personality:
He has shiny blue eyes, that glow almost a burnt amber in direct sunlight. His skin color is a very medium tan, that rarely changes come rain or shine. He always has groomed fingernails and can wears a black visor that also has the District Three Token shown on the front of it. He has a slight five o' clock shadow around his chin and upper lip. He is toned in the Muscle and Ab areas due to neighborhood sports.
He has his flaws as well. He has a metal plate in his left knee. He has long term memory loss. And his hand-eye coordination isn't the best. It is extremely hard to live with, but he has learned to cope with it and can now function quite well. With the occasional limp.
Gabriel is very laid back. He isn't the type to jump right into the action, but if need be, he will. He sticks up for his closest friends in any way that he can whether they are there, or aren't. He has a tendency to jump to conclusions based on information he has been told, but he will never blow it out of proportion or go as far as to killing someone, unless it interferes with close friends.History:
Gabriel has always been a morning person. He gets right up and does what he is told, and rules always apply to him. He doesn't make them, and he doesn't break them. He doesn't get too soft and sincere, but he does have a weakness for smart girls. He also likes girls with long hair and he looks for personality and smarts, not much physical appearance.
Gabriel does however, have his limitations. If someone goes behind his back and attempts to preserve any part of his history, childhood or family... Well let's just say he will not stop until he thinks the person who had done such a thing, has paid their dues. He does not care much for being inside. He is very athletic and works out almost every day.
Gabriel Kent Adair. This pretty-boy isn't all he says he is. There is actually a simple explanation for this personality trait. He wasn't always a pretty-boy. Gabriel was once a kid, as was everyone else. He was abused, both mentally and physically, and that still haunts him to this day. He can't even count how many names he's been called names not only by his family, but by other District Three Members as well. He was in a sport-related incident at the age of ten. Of course everyone made fun of him. His left leg was bent backwards due to the impact and he had a major concussion after he hit the ground. Soccer isn't a sport you want to mess with. So he then decided that he was going to make something of himself. So for the first ten years of his life, Gabriel put up with it. It would all change come his eleventh birthday.Codeword: odair
December thirteenth was the day that everything would change, for him and his family. His friends' families would hold weekly lotto drawings, just for fun little coupons and whatnot. This day, and this day only, they decided to all pitch in together and form a small jackpot. So with the little piggy bank he had, he would walk around the district and ask for small change, one person at a time, until finally, he had enough money to buy one ticket. Little did he know, this ticket was the rest of his life and more. The good and the bad.
So he went to buy the ticket and of course,he got some not-so-nice looks, but he charged right through the door and broke that small piggy bank right on the table and asked, "One ticket please! :3" He was the most confident boy in the world at that time, knowing he had bought something on his own. The Drawing wasn't for another four days, and so he waited. Patiently. Frugally. Until Finally, the day had come. All around the district, his name was flowing, carefully slipping past Peacekeeper's Ears as thought they can't hear a thing, after all, it is illeagal. His name had been chosen. He had won. The only thing he would do now was... Well he didn't know, he was still ten. The only thing he could do was hide it inside his bed. The next day."Where is it you good for nothing snobby little brat?" He covers his face, and more importantly the corner of his bed where the money was. He doesn't like this woman. He doesn't even want to know her. Why would he tell her where it was?
So he didn't. He had left it there. He told her it fell into the drainage outside and it was lost forever. She lost her breath and replied simply with a, "Of course. I knew this would happen. You never can have anything to yourself without losing it. You lose EVERYTHING, Gabe!"
For the next five years, he attempted to prove her wrong. Every year he'd buy himself something small for his birthday and hide it, not just so his mom didn't know he had the money to buy it, giving him a small sense of power, but also so he could prove to himself that he knew exactly where everything was. All of this led to the increasing value of the items he had purchased. First it was a pack of pens, then it was a journal, then a pair of shoes and so on. For his seventeenth birthday he bought friends. His friends then called him a pretty-boy and this has stuck with him ever since. He was never the friend getting type. So he decided to bribe them to play games with him. Ever since, he has had the mindset of "Oh it's okay if I make this person mad, I can just give them some money and it will all blow over." Wrong idea, Gabriel Kent Adair. Wrong idea.
