Nico Maciel (D1) :-FINISHED-:

Nico is not an overly large built person. She is small but she's strong. People often underestimate her in many different ways, mainly her strength. Nico is 5 ft 1 and weighs only 62 kgs. Nico has bright red hair that is naturally curly. Using a ribbon, Nico likes tying it up so that the ringlets don't fall into her face.

Nico has a birthmark in the shape of a star. It is on her wrist. Nico has little color in her skin. On a good day she looks slightly pink. Nico's eyes are deep blue, like an ocean. Her style is simple. She likes jeans and jumpers. She likes good quality clothing but she likes it cheap. Her favorite pair of shoes are basic canvas flats.

Nico has mood swings often. She can be the happiest person in the world, then be the most depressed, saddest person in a matter of moments. Around her family (Mother, Father, Sister) she is always clam, talkative, confident and happy. But around other people she is very shy. Nico is quiet when she is not around her family. She worries she will do something wrong, say something wrong. She can be very paranoid, especially around peacekeepers.

Nico enjoys reading and cooking. She also loves singing and spending time with her younger sister. Even thought Nico loves many things, she hates the peacekeepers. She dislikes training for the games as a career but if she had to, she would like to participate. Nico is a very tolerant and patient person. She trains hard, but relaxes when she isn't training.

Nico hopes that she and her sister will survive, past the age of 18. Her sister is only young and Nico knows that one day she will pass all of her knowledge onto her, so that if one day, her sister is called upon and Nico cannot take her place, she may have a chance of surviving. Nico doesn't have many friends, but the ones she does have seem to have the same traits. They all have many things in common and find the same things interesting.

Nico grew up in the almost safe District 1. Nico is the eldest child of her family, and only having one sibling made her life a little easier. Nico's family is one of the few who do not have to work, for they are wealthy, due to inheritance of her fathers parents. Nico is close with her family, especially her younger sister. They spend more time together, then most teenagers would. Nico has trained her sister in the games and in singing, since her sister was 5 years old.

Nico has had a safe life so far. The most significant event in her life was when her best friends sister was called into the games. She died then her best friend was also called in. She lost the two closest people in her life at that time which impacted her greatly. Nico is now not impacted by the thought, and knows that they died with dignity.

Nico has never had a job. Because of her family being one of the better off she has never had to support her family by getting a job to help pay for the necessities. She thinks about life now and when she is older she hopes to open her own bar. Nico loves school. Its her favorite part of the day. She spends during the week at school, then on Sunday and Saturday she sits around her house or trains. At school, Nico enjoys sitting with her sister, and her friends often join the two.
