Whisper Caviar - District 1

Whisper is of average height for her age, at 5ft 4", however she's slightly larger than most fifteen-year-old girls, weighing 133 pounds, although admittedly it's mostly muscle rather than fat. She has a round face accomponied by dirty blonde, shoulder length hair that is naturally wavy. With a pale complexion, large blue eyes, that are very decieving, and pale pink cheeks, Whisper is normally said to be quite a pretty girl, which is something she sometimes uses to her advantage, with people being much nicer to her than usual girls, although Whisper herself doesn't see herself as anything special.

Whisper, like any teenage girl, has her flaws. She has a crooked nose, achieved during combat training when she was eleven years old. She also has a few spots around her face, which she often tries to hide with Capitol make-up and has freckly arms. On her upper-right arm, is a long, ugly scar, that like her crooked nose, was earned during combat training, however at an older age of fourteen.

Whisper is generally quiet, calm and collected, preffering action over words. This doesn't mean she's not a good speaker, she uses her tongue in many situations when neccessary, and is very manipulative and easy to believe, all of this making her a very untrustworthy person, especially when it comes down to protecting herself.

Although hard to please and afraid of commitment, once Whisper deems somebody as a friend, she is very loyal to them and, depending on the extent of their friendship, will do pretty much anything to protect them, except do something that would put her life in grave danger. She is hard to anger, and even if she is angry, she doesn't show it in the traditional way. She isn't one to forget something that somebody has done to her, no matter how long ago it was, and is somebody that tries to take revenge were possible.

Whisper is very ambitious, which isn't always a good thing. She relishes at the thought of money, luxury and fame, which makes her long to be a tribute in the Games. She isn't stupid, however, and will only volunteer to take the place of a tribute if she feels she is ready, old enough, and has a decent chance of survival.

Whisper Caviar was born on 14th April, the year of the 43rd Hunger Games, an only child. As she grew up, her parents provided her with the right amount of love and attention she needed, and on her eighth birthday, she began training for the Hunger Games.

Although reluctant at first, Whisper began to enjoy training, and by the time she was nine, looked forward to each training session, and got particulary good at them as the years went on. Whisper always enjoyed watching the Games on television, and always supported her district's tributes.

Whisper began working in the factory that made Capitol luxuries at the age of twelve, and not long after starting, she tried to steal a children's toy, but was caught and whipped as punishment, teaching her not to disobey the rules again. At school, although she excelled accademically, Whisper found it hard to mix with the children and make friends, due to her shy nature.

Whisper, like most minors in her district, longs to be a tribute in the Games, but even more so than the other children because her great-aunt, Gracious York competed in one of the first Games, and came a respectable fourth place, eventually being killed off by an avalance set off by the Gamemakers'. Whisper watches the tape frequently for inspiration and pays particular attention to Gracious' fighting method, using it in training and hoping one day it will come in useful.
