Appearance:

December is a built 15 year old, standing at 5 feet 11 inches. She weighs at least 130 pounds, but if you look at her you would think she weighs 50 pounds less because of her slim figure. Most of her weight is pure muscle, anyway. Her skin is very pale, almost white, and it is very clear. She has no freckles whatsoever.
She is most proud of her long, waist-length hair, that is a pure white-blonde, the color of snow. Her eyes are a subtle blue-grey, the color of the stones in the mine. She barely ever smiles, but her teeth are perfect naturally.

Personality:

Dessy is usually reserved, and stays away from everyone. Because of this she has hard times making friends, and she judges people on first impression. If she doesn't like their hair or clothing, she doesn't like THEM.
She only has about 3 friends in her district, and she fears of loneliness in the Hunger Games if she gets picked because she secretly can't be away from people. At least one person has to be in viewing range at all times, or she fears every corner.
Otherwise, December is a very fierce girl, and could fight and kill easily with her favorite weapon- the mace. Because of her strong build she can weild it effortlessly, a skill most men cannot attain. When someone does bevome her friend though, she is very loyal to them and would die for them. She is smart and intuitive and knows who to trust. Because of her intuitiveness (Is that a word?), she can also sense dangers before they come.

History:

December Laplaunt was born and raised in the same wealthy household her whole life. But, she knew that the reaping days would come, and she would have to participate, so she strained as hard as she could. She got strong by mining with the men, and learned how to use all the weapons she could find. She had many friends when she was younger, but these activities took up most of her time, and she couldn't see them as often.
As a result, all but few of her friends left her, including her lover. She was heartbroken, and put all of her time into training and working to get through the pain. At that moment she swore she would never be disloyal to a friend like hers were. She has been very closed off to people since then.
Her family consists of a drunkard for a father, a deceased mother, and a 3 year old sister. Dessy's mother was a docter before she died (2 years back), so that is how they had so much money. December fears, though, that she will be called in the reaping, and die in the Games, and no one will be able to care for her young sister, Aurora.
That is why December is set on beating anything that crosses her path. She may seem stuck up and has a too-good-for-you attitude, but it's not her fault. All the happenings in her past made her who she is, and no one can change that now.. Or can /he/?
