Name: Adrian Turbatio
F/C: Austin Butler
Age: 18
Gender: Male
District/Area: Wanderer
Appearance:
-current time-
Adrian's dark blond hair just covers his ears. It was short but has grown long over the year he has left it unattended. He has thick eyebrows that are darker than his hair. He has a bald spot from a wound obtained... then.
Adrian has grey-green eyes with specks of yellow. Ever-existing dark lines underneath his eyes suggest he needs sleep something awful, but he barely ever rests. If you look into his eyes, the feeling you deduce from them is that of the look from an animal who had just woken up from a long rest and was wounded by a hunter but is running with confused determination to stay alive. His mouth is usually, not really grimacing, but his jaws are clenched in concentration, trying to remember the details of his painful past. His face overall is skinny-oval-ish.
His skin is pale from his previous district occupation and malnutrition. He has a neck almost as wide as his head that separates to wide shoulders and medium-length and skinny arms. Turbatio has long legs and wide feet. He is about 6' 1'' and overall pretty slim.
I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But it's home to me and I walk alone

-one year ago-
Adrian was a trouble maker. He didn't cause trouble to be popular, or to be funny, he just made trouble for those he felt were not being fair. For example, their teacher once was hitting a kid in his grade with a ruler for "slouching". So Adrian stood up for him and became the next victim. Adrian then promptly caught the ruler in midair, twisted it out of his teacher's hand, snapped it in half, and walked coolly out of the classroom. He received fifteen blows for it, but it was worth it. Justice had been done.
Again, he doesn't want popularity and he does not obtain it. The hierarchy of and cruelty required by popularity are too much. Even without his strong sense of justice, he is not exactly a social butterfly. While others his age have gotten off their shifts in the factories and are spending time with friends, he is usually found walking through District 3 just talking to himself.
He especially doesnt like the fact that twenty-three people die brutally at the hands of the wretched Capitol. Well, realistically twenty-four people because the Victor's spirit is lost.
-current time-
Adrian now wanders the Woods. He obtained amnesia from... the event and now is struck by an amnesia attack at least every two weeks. He knows not the crimes he committed against the Capitol, yet when he wakes up from an attack, the only thing he remembers is the urge to continue pressing on.
My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
'Til then I walk alone
[/blockquote]History:
-Up to a year ago-
Again, he was born in District 3. His father left after he was conceived and has never heard of him since. His mother can be strict at times but is in the end a very loyal and loving mother. His younger brother, Michael, is pretty social but doesnt speak with his family much.
After school, Adrian goes to work his hours at an electronics factory. He is a hard worker, but rarely receives pay due to his "extremity"
Growing up, Adrian remembered every Games being painful to watch. The Capitol, in all its cruelty, forced harmless (well, most of them) children to fight to the death in front of their own families. It didnt help that when he was twelve, one of Adrian's friends got called in the Reaping of the 49th Games and bled to death after receiving a fatal wound underneath his leg. Adrian's rebellious attitude concerned his mother and teachers at an early age. He often did things like mentioned above and always gets punished for it. His unrest with the Capitol increased every year he witnessed the Games.
Finally, he snapped. He talked to twenty people he knew who felt the same way about the Capitol and formed "The Voice for the People" a group that had its one and only riot in the middle of the summer. They got bandannas from a few guys working at an especially smoky factory, bottles of rubbing alcohol from a shop, and a few iron bars from a factory as well. One Peacekeeper died engulfed in flames and one beat to death. Other than that, nothing much was accomplished. Everybody, except Adrian, was killed. Adrian, knowing it was a cowardly move but still did, ran. He was followed by a Peacekeeper and shot at, once missing and once glancing the side of his head. Adrian climbed atop a roof and managed to just clear the fence, catching his leg on the barbed wire and falling the twenty feet down, landing on his side but catching his head on a rock. He continued stumbling for, he didnt know how long. He just kept running until the Peacekeepers' noise was gone, finally stumbled and experienced his first case of amnesia.
-current time-
He barely survives in the woods, using the knife he used for the riot. It was a multi-tool, and became useful in many situations. He was able whittle spears for hunting and spearfishing, but rarely gets anything but roots, vegetables, and berries.
Read between the lines
What's messed up when everything's alright
Check my vital signs
To know I'm still alive and I walk alone.
