Age: 19
Gender: Female
District/Area: Wanderer
Appearance:
Megan is a girl of average build and height standing at 5'6" and weighing around 146 pounds. She has some conservative curves that are usually covered up by her clothing. She has amazing brown eyes that any guy who she met would be drawn to. Her brown hair is longer in the back and is short up in the front. It is usually cut jaggedly at different angles.Personality:
Her attire is more customary to a hunter from District Nine. The comfy dark brown pants are held up by a belt and are covered in areas with bandages near the left knee and the shin area. She wears a bluish grey tank top over a white tank. As far a footwear is concerned, she wears some black peacekeeper combat boots that she swiped with her other "spoils" and brown fingerless gloves. But they all came with a price. Her right upper arm was grazed by a bullet and she now wears a bandage over that area to keep it covered. A scar can be seen on her upper left arm while her back is crossed with multiple scars from lashings. One of the other flaws on her body is a deep scar that runs under her lower lip. It is cut at such an angle that it looks like she has a permanent sneer plastered on her face.
She also keeps her spoils on her person at all times. Other than her personal recurve bow that is extremely strong she has the following:
- a peacekeeper semi auto handgun and thigh holster
- a peacekeeper sawed off shotgun that has bandages wrapped around the grip.
- a shoulder sling that she keeps the shotgun in
- a climbing axe found on the outskirts of District 9
Megan is extremely cold towards anyone who supports the people of the Capitol and the government of Panem. She is also cold in her demeanor towards her parents for sending her to another district because they "threw her away".History:
She is not one to trust another after what happened in District 9 shortly before her departure. The only person she would trust is one of her own kin. But she heard that the West family had all been killed in a series of tragic accidents. She has no idea that one of her younger brothers is still alive and breathing. If she found that out, she would be happy enough to trust anyone he does. She also trusts rebels and wanderers, just less openly.
She is loyal to anyone she can trust. The loyalty is strong enough to give aid to the person at any time. But this still has it's limits. She is not a personal assassin and will not kill unless the person is against the rebellion. She also will not respond to use of blackmail to try to get her to do a job. The only people she kills are people who attack her (ie. Peacekeepers) and those who "stab her in the back.
Megan West was born in District 12 and lived there with her parents until she turned three. Those three years were the best of her life. Then, her parents had a son. Megan was excited to meet her brother who was named Tom and that was when everything went downhill for her. She took a small nap (it was around twenty four hours because of a sedative) and woke up in strange surroundings. She felt a small pain in her shoulder and instantly went unconsious (note: this happened multiple times over the span of about a week). She was in a large room which, instead of only two cribs, had many cribs spanned a large room. Every single one was occupied. She didn't know where she was or what had happened. As she grew, she learned the truth.Codeword: odair
The truth of bow her parents had shunned their own daughter to a district far from their own. She lived in the District Nine orphanage for years not believing that she had been shunned. It was around the age of twelve that she began to get that nobody was coming for her. She would often times take her bow and arrows out to the forest alone to practice and sometimes, just cry her eyes out. She cried for friends she had known that were killed in the Hunger Games. She cried for her situation. She even cried for the brother that she had never met.
As she matured, she began to wear more "hunting" garments than what others had been wearing. She began to cut her own hair as well to keep it at a length that was perfect to her. Around the age of fourteen, she heard of a rebellion uprising in twelve with the name West mentioned in those dead. She assumed that this was her entire family and mourned for her sibling that she had never met.
That day was when she decided that she needed to leave. She became more hostile in her personality as she planned to escape. Parts of her escape included luring peacekeepers into the forest only to take them out from long range. She hid the weapons so that she would be the only one to find them and swiped a pair of combat boots. By the time she left, she was sixteen years old. The catch was that she hadn't counted on a heavier gaurd that night. A bullet grazed off of her right arm and she was immediately in pain. That didn't stop her.
She fought through the keepers and mainly hit them in the chest area only to slow them down and she made her escape. She wrapped some bandage around the wound which happened to be deeper than she thought. Over the three years that she was gone, she learned how to use the "spoils efficiently and could score a headshot almost every time with only her bow. The rest she could hit the target mostly in the torso, and sometimes not at all. The random climbing axe she found when leaving is used both to climb and to use as a weapon inclose quarters. At nineteen, she ha fought the Capitol for three years and has become as good at killing as her younger brother.
