Alice Jackson D4

Alice's skin is very pale. She has a few freckles on her cheeks and one right above her top lip. Her skin very smooth and soft from spending time under-water. Her face is heartshaped and as pale as the rest of her body, with maybe a little more color in the cheeks. You can only see her freckles when it's sunny outside.

Her hair is definitly not pale like the rest of her body. It's jet black and wavy going down to about her mid-back. She almost always keeps it down. She only puts it up on reaping day or her birthday. Since she swims ao often it is hard to tell it's actully very wavy. Since she never puts it up it's almost always in her face. It's not died or high-lighted or anything just her natural color. Her eyes are Sea Green and almond-shaped. They are wider then normal. sometimes they look wild and intense or other times calm and soothing. Almost like the ocean. Her eyebrows are actully brown instead of black like the color of her hair. They arch upward and look like she's always raising them. her nose is tall and angular. She hates her nose. She thinks its ugly and too big. Truly it isn't very attractive but it's not that bad. Her mouth is always smirking, as if she knows something you don't. Her bottom lip is slightly bigger than the top one because she bites it when she's comlimented.

Her nech is pretty long and slender. she actully sings a lot and has a beatiful voice. Her sholders arn't broad or big. They are actully quite delicate. Her arms are long and good for swimming. She's very bony from lack of food. Her hands are small and delicatewith no paint ever touching her nails. She is very skinny and you can see her ribs. Her stomach isvery flat and sore quite often from hitting the water too hard.

Her legs are very long and she stands at 5'9. She's taller than most 16 year olds but not giant. Her legs are strong from swimming and her feet are almost like her flippers. They are similar to her hands: very small and delicate. She's broken a couple toes from hitting rocks or other things while swimming.

Alice does not trust easily. She's afraid to let her guard down and end up hurt or alone. To people she hasn't opened up to she comes across as sullen and hostile. To people she has aopened up to she is actully very kind, considerate, and caring. She does have a nasty temper and will lash out at someone if they anger her. She doesn't care what others think and really couldn't care less. She knows in life it only matters what you think of yourself.

Despite the tough gal she plays on the outside she is insecure and guilty. When her brother died in the games she was heartbroken. Even now, 4 years later, she still will have nightmares about it. How she couldn't save him even though she so badly wanted too. Sometimes she thinks it's all her fault. If she had taken the terresa instead of him he might still be here. Sometimes she breaks down sobbing out of greif. It isn't her fault. It truly isn't. But that's what she thinks and it haunts her.

She hates the games with a passion. Because of that she sometimes feels trapped. Trapped in an unfair and unjust world. She never wants to go into the games, ever. She has seen children not unlike her go into the arena and die. Die because of what their ancestors did. She hates seeing anyone or anything in pain and that's exactly what the Hunger Games is. A game of pain.

Alice was born to Cydney along with her brother Percy. She had a great childhood. Her mother loved her children and cared for them as best she could. Their father was lost at sea before they were born. Her and her brother were best friends from the start. They did everything together. Swimming, playing, reading. They never thought about the Games much and never imagined one of them would be reaped. It was almost impossible. Almost.

Since Percy was born first he took out the terresa. Alice would bet anything that's what killed him. The day they said there goodbyes was the hardest moment of her life. He died on the 7th day and her heart shattered into pieces. As soon as the spear entered his body she ran to the ocean. She made a last minute decision: she was going to drown herself.

A million thought went through her head. 'What if it goes wrong? What if I'm saved? Don;t be silly Alice they don't even know you're here! Now just get on with it. Percy's waiting.' Just as she was about to black out she felt strong arms tug at her. She struggled and thrashed but he was too strong. As soon as her head hit the surface she started to cry. And then the strangest thing happened. The boy comferted her. As time went on they saw more of each other and they became friends. Then slowly that became something more.

Pretty soon Alice changed. She became the Alice she used to be. The kind and caring one. Her and Luke swam together and taught each other things. She taught him about the ocean and all it's other creatures. He taught her how to love and feel again. She was becoming the old Alice. The one no one had seen since her brother died.
